is it me or do i find that the colour of your skin could determine your chances of a meeting.

as a single asian male i find many people willing to talk and arrange a meeting only to ditch you at the last minute and blocking you due to colour of your skin? i mean if you cant see the colour in my pics you should maybe invest in some glasses. or change your screen settings so it show correct colours. lol

i find that wierd myself, are you sure its nothing to do with your skin why they stop talking to you and block you, not being rude but could be used as an excuse, surely if people dont like certain skin colours they would say no thanks out the out set?

I think you'll find SINGLE men in general find it hard to get meets. However if playing the race card makes you feel better, as obviously that's the only reason people don't like you, then good for you.

I'm not saying I'mr perfect... I'm human and mistakes is part of our nature! I was merely stating what it felt like at my end... It's just I don't see colour ... I see people!! And I guess wishing everyone felt the same is not realistic either!

Just thought it may be a better way to do some market research. And here people's views! But thanks for the comments! Lol

Do they block you AFTER arranging a meet? Well then you're in the same position like many others - men and women!

If they block you after seeing your cam/face pic it may be the race or maybe they just don't fancy you.

If you really think it's a race thing, why not mentioning it in your profile? I mention my size as well as I prefer them knowing in advance before they run away as soon as they see my big ass haha

It don't matter to us the colour of anyone's skin. We all breath the same air and bleed the same colour of blood. If we come across someone who we like or messages us and they take our fancy, then irrespective of their colour, we would look to play with them.

just a question op..... you say its obvious from your pics that your asian and that its due to that people are refusing to meet and blocking you . IF that is indeed the case then

1) why would it then come up in conversation that youre asian if it is already obvious ???

2) if that is the "deal breaker" for people and the source of annoyance for yu ..why wouldnt you cut out any hassle by simply mentioning it on profile ?

i will say its difficult for everyone on the site ,and by simple logistics very difficult for very difficult for ALL singl males . however ,there are plenty of single guys who get meets and single asian guys who get meets !!

id also say there have been times ive messaged a guy (after reading profile and eye caught by pics),but upon speaking to them found just didnt click with them or left cold, nowt to do with their skin colour . so as people said you can either play the victime or you can use what ever feedback you get to home your search /vetting of meets .

on a personl note im ouraged not everyone wants to meet short arsed,opinionated ,curvey redheads

I hate it when people apologise for not liking Asian , black or white people , they don't say sorry for not liking smelly people, unhygienic people or crazy people , if it's not your preference it's not your preference stop apologising about it !

I am Asian. We aint that fashionable with a lot of people. Blame the news...lack of media exposure..fashion...culture..and so on. Some are genuinely fearful which I used to think was unbelievably bizarre..but unfortunately is often genuine. Nowt we can do about it. Similiar in outcome but not in cause to other impediments to meets.

dude ill be honest with you, like everyone has said single guys in general find it hard. BUT from my experience people who specifically dont want Asian guy would actually write it on their profile anyway, or say NO from the start. You'd be surprised how many people actually like a bit of colour on a swing as its still quite 'rare' (in comparison). in all honesty the main deal maker/breaker for all singletons 90% of time is simply personality & attitude (And thankfully for me ALOT of guys let them selves down on that lol)

see were as we do mention it we both would prefer no confusion and that way people can decide if they want to or not. because if u r saying that u tell them when chatting that u r asian and this maybe a reason they dn't want to meet u could be quite right but it is there choice and sorry to tell u this but some people will not want to meet u because u r asian its a fact deal with it. but if its on your profile u won't get let down. x

Some say I ageist as I won't meet men my age but its what does and doesn't do it for me. I have not met any men that do not consider themselves to be white but that's because none have shown an interest who are old enough. If I found one old enough that I had simular sexual tastes and I liked then I wouldn't give skin colour a second thought

I always think its best to mention as much about you as possible, to prevent the things that have happened to you.

I have mentioned that I am Asian (other than appearance and size) and it helps a lot and filters out some people who wouldn't be interested.

Think you've missed my point by a distance .

This guy has basically come on and said people are racist against him due to his skin colour and ethnicity , yet not provided one shred of evidence , this is part of the reason why we live in the world we do,everyone apologising for there own personal preferences , guess now I'm "obliged" to say look at my profile I've met lots I black and Asian people an that's my problem with this , having to justify yourself to please other people.

If he came on and said people where saying rude and vile things about his skin colour or ethnicity then , I'd be in his corner and these people should be reported but he's not , it appears he just presuming and as several people have said it could equal be his personality , I chat to people and they like me but as soon as I sent a face pic it changes but hey ho rhats THERE choice, like I said everyone had there own preferences .

If someone is racist and doesn't want to meet you then you shouldn't really care, as in it shouldn't bother you that you're not about to meet a racist.

If it is a preference thing then you can't force someone to find you attractive.

What I understand of the skin colour situation on here is that it is hard to put over your personality on a website like this and the internet in general so people appear to be sticking to stereotypes of different races. So in most cases I wouldn't describe people not wanting to meet Asians as racist, just a bit silly not to give people a chance.

p.s. to people who state "no asians", what do you make of a half-white half-asian?

dude you're missing the point- look at my profile picture. Im Asian. Does me not being attracted to other Asians make me racist? Im making a point about the 'race card'. and just clear up any confusion- i have had enough interaction with Asians to know if Im attracted sexually or not (based on the fact that its my social upbringing). Its just my preference. I also not sure id enjoy sexual time with oriental women either. I believe this is same situation with alot of "white" swingers that also only sexually attracted to whites.

My first word in that comment made it clear I don't believe you're racist. There's a difference between ignorance and racism, although most racists are ignorant.

My point was simply that you can't rule out a whole race based on your perceptions.

I have only ever had sex with "white" women and have never even kissed a black woman. I am yet to have met a black woman I was attracted to. But to believe that there isn't a single black woman on the planet who I wouldn't be attracted to, is a display of ignorance in my opinion. Just as it would be for me to assume all Asian men are misogynists.

I definitely second this post. If someone doesn't want to meet you, then it's their preference and I wish people wouldn't take it do personally. If you don't want to meet someone, you don't. After all swinging is meant to be fun with people you find attractive and where's the fun if you are doing it with people you don't find attractive.

If someone chooses not to meet you for your skin colour, then it's one of two things - either they are racist or not attracted to people of your racial makeup. Either way, why care if you are a confident person in yourself.

Its all down to personal choice... and personality in my book.

Yes there are profiles saying 'dont meet asian' maybe they had a bad experience in the past - who knows - but if they dont want to .... hey .. other do, focus attention there.

I remember the Asian player at Leyton Orient, the club had to let him go on a free transfer, because everytime they.got a corner, he'd try and set up a shop!

....you see, we can all laugh first before the race police jump in and will deem that joke offensive, but its not. We are, like it or not, a diverse nation with multiple race, colours and creeds flooding our borders....some may enjoy interacting with other cultures whether sexually or otherwise, and some may not...its choice...not racism. Asians, Blacks, Americans, Irish, Geordies, Scousers, Europeans...it doesn't matter where you are from....not everyone will like you as not the whole world likes white/english people.

In Britain people tend to use the word for people from the Indian sub continent, which always throws me, having lived for a long time in Asia .

There is no race or nationality of "Asian".

Lets cut to the chase here...when you are using the word asian, do you mean pakistani? or do you mean someone who is muslim? I think that is what the majority would think, as it seems that word is used to describe both, and the broader use of the term is not what is meant.

I personally dont want to meet pakistani/muslim men because I see it as a double standard based on their religious values and ideals, but i say asian on my profile for fear of vindication and being called racist. I am not racist, i have asian friends (chinese, indian, persian), i grew up in an area with a large muslim community, but i just dont fancy them, simple as that.

It's perfectly legitimate to call oneself Asian, government questionnaires in the demographic sections ask if you're white, black, asian, mixed, chinese or other. So it's pretty much a given in this country that asian means southern asia, not Russian or Japanese etc.

In this country Asian means southern Asian, so Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi etc.

And more sweeping generalisations, I'm mixed Pakistani and White, but just because I'm half-pakistani doesn't mean I'm muslim or have any 'ideals' that this would go against. I was born here, I drink, am not religious, I eat pork, I eat curry sometimes after a night out in a curry house, I talk with a midlands accent and can't speak any Asian lingo.

People say it's not racist and it's a preference to not like a certain creed but I just don't understand how you can discount an entire people and say I don't fancy them all?!

I don't think I'd seen an Aborigine who was particularly attractive to me until last week, but I never said 'I won't meet Aborigines', and the Aborigine lady I saw on the TV last week would definitely have gotten it.

Ok i get what youre saying, however, having dated a pakistani man who was a complete hypocrite by drinking, smoking, having sex and doing everything against his supposed values, but using those values to his advantage then it has completely put me off dating or sleeping with another "asian" man. Just read this thread, I'm of mixed race and after being on this site for a couple of weeks I've found that most ppl will put their preferences on their profiles, up to now I've had quite a few that just delete messages without replying and the odd thanks but no thanks, in my humble opinion that's purely because they don't fancy me, after all we're asking them to let us fuck them, there's gotta be some attraction there, and if not its probably got nothing to do with colour of my skin
