Just sent a message to a profile that said something along the lines of "we will not meet ANYONE involved in substance abuse of any kind":

By the way, I see on your profile you have said some strong words about not meeting anyone who deals in substance abuse. Well I must tell you that I'm partial to permanent markers. Just love the smell and also Tippex. I have actually been banned from most WH Smith's due to creeping around the stationary section. I hope that doesn't exclude me from consideration.

What are the chances that'll be taken seriously?

I wonder if the banned list includes alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, viagra, paracetamol...

Although I do understand wanting to distance yourself from the wider hedonist subculture if that’s really not your thing.

Oh don't get me wrong. I actually also avoid meeting anyone wanting to include any drug related activity (barring caffeine). But I just thought I'd have a bit of fun and send a silly message.

Many pharmaceuticals are developed from naturally occurring materials, including plants. If people get uplifted from some flowers, they may be a part of society's underworld. Demand evidence of their lifetime purchase and gift history, to screen out anyone who may be guilty.
