How often do you say things because the raging horn is clouding your judgement?

‘I promise to drive 50miles round trip 8 times a week for the next 7 months to see you’ ...... its not practical or true the thought/opportunity of sexy time has made you swear it.

Anyone do or done this and then reneged/regretted it later?
