Just wondering what importance people put on profiles which are verified?

I've always sent polite messages, quoting from the profile so as to show I'd read it, have a face pic up and got very few replies until I was verified.

Guessing the behaviour of a few (sending awful messages), probably single males, ruins it for non-verified members of fab!

i take a look and if i'm likely to be interested i suggest they get photo verified and get back to me.

this has been discussed on another thread, but as a single female i have various criteria for meets. one of these is to be sure that i will recognise whoever i am supposed to be meeting! i have met guys with fake and out of date pics and apart from the annoyance at having my time wasted i am amused when they are surprised that i won't even stay for a coffee!

i'm only here for the single guys so i don't feel that they ruin it, just as many single fems and couples can have bad attitudes.

Not a lot really! Some of the rudest messages I've received have been verified members and the only non-show I've experienced had been verified several times.

met a couple of nice men who where new and didnt have verifications, they sent nice friendly messages. some men who havnt got any verifications and they have been on here for a year am bit wary of, as some have been unreliable or didnt have up to date pictures on their profile.

I'm starting to wonder the value myself as I saw a couples profile the other day that was verified by a single female who had ONLY saw the male half on cam. If it is a single man all he has to do now is hide the veri and he can pose as a couple. I reported the profile but it is still there many days later

Lots get cam verifs from mates and friends of friends, we think its got way out of hand here, admin should do much more. They waste enough time deleting pics of ours that they think arent real lol, 5 times this week alone, despite writing to them, sure enough, deleted AGAIN. Should we get it copyrighted??

I take verifications with a pinch of salt anyway, but personally I dont count webcam or photo verifications at all (or phone when they used to have them). Meet only.

If a profile looks dodgy to me a green tick isnt going to change my mind, and if it feels right i am not going to refuse to meet cos they dont have one...

Its a tool for people to use, not the only thing they should use.

thought this would have been discussed before, looks like everyone has a different take on it. personally I go on the msg exchange and chat and gut feeling, not really gonna look at a green tick and potentially fake verifications!

wasn't explicitly meaning with reference to meets, just the initial ice breaker contact. just seemed like it was almost a prerequisite for a reply. but hey, now I'm verified fab has certainly become more fun whatever the reason!

Some of my best meets were with new guys without veris. Poor blighters have to start somewhere.

I've been on here over a year and I only have photo verifications due to only having had a few meets with non verified people. It's the nature of the beast I guess.

It's not easy being green, or a single unverified male.

I didn't think you could verify other people if you were only photo verified, I could be wrong tho.

yeah, you can only verify meet/cam once you're verified by a member who's already verified...seem a bit chicken and egg to me!
