Frenum is easier and no bother to take out.

Easy to add to as well and get a ladder.

My frenum piercing migrated out sadly.

PA. I had mine done then went off to do a night shift at work. It didn’t hurt or cause me any problems at all but has brought me and several people a lot of pleasure.

Not keen on frenum piercings personally. Seem too fragile and doesn’t proved enough contact in the right place for the kind of feeling I get from my PA.

Easiest piercing I’ve had done in terms of healing and not catching it on anything, and I (and most other people who’ve seen it seem to agree) think that it looks good - apparently supposed to stimulate the clit during sex, but not had any particular comments about it

Funnily enough that’s exactly what I look for in a piercer - if they’re not scabby and strange I won’t use them and rather than use cleaning lotions and saline solutions 4 times a day I’ll put my trust in a non existent deity

Every single wesbite and youtube video about PA's covers having to sit down to pee very extensively. Some guys can get away with turning their cock upside down, but most seem to need to sit down to stay reliably clean.

Just too much of a life commitment to me, esp as it seems the hole is likely to stretch and require larger rings as time goes on.

The professional and award-winning piercer who did mine didn’t mention anything about having to sit down. The people i know with PAs who were pierced by the same guy and other piercers have never meant being advised to sit down.

I’ve never seen any website or YT avid that advises this. I’m not saying you might have seen ones that do btw.

I’m at a loss to see how having a PA and standing to wee prevents you from being “reliably clean.”

There is nothing special about a PA hole that means it stretches by itself, I have had the same gauge ring in since having mine done years ago and the hole hasn’t stretched. I know people have intentionally stretched the hole by putting larger gauge rings in.

Having a cursory look around some websites do say that “some” men might dribble or spray unexpectedly with a PA but in most cases it’s just a matter of getting used to it.

One forum person wrote that the pee travels along the ring and down the underside of the penis on to the balls, pants and trousers. Why is this person insisting in peeing up into the air? That’s the only way I can see this happening. If you point your penis downwards...like a normal person

...then gravity takes care of it just like an unpierced cock.

Honestly, I’ve never had a problem and neither has anyone I know with one had any problems.

I have a guiche, a lorum and a pubic. I got them over the years in that order (well after the nipple which was my first)

The lorum is a type of frenulum piercing which takes into account the rest of the shaft below the frenulum as all being referred to as frenulum - hence apparently the name: on the frenulum but lower = lorum

I chose it and the rest, as they don’t “get in the way” for sex but do feature: Lorum hits the clit with sex from behind, Pubic hits the clit from front positions. (With the guiche for my pleasure- in theory but it’s really just decoration.

I chose to avoid getting a PA because it can be off putting to some partners and unlike my others down close to my body, I worry about catching it on things. Although it’s not true (as they’re smooth piercings) a lot of people think they are more likely to burst condoms and that understandably put others off.

During the early healing time of any piercing, you’re supposed to avoid any sexual contact without it being covered. You’re not even supposed to handle it without first thoroughly washing your own hands. Infection is not a good thing, as at the very least, you’ll have to take it out, then wait months for it to heal if you want another in the exact same area.

The PA (and clit hoods) heal fastest of all piercings if healing time is your biggest worry.

So it’s up to you OP. If you’re doing it for yourself then great. If you’re doing it because of what others have asked for or you think others want, there’s probably just as many people it will put off as it will attract.

You are right about the healing time. Much quicker than my other ones.

As for catching the piercing. Even with the larger guage I have, it has never happened.

I've also never had an issue with a condom fail and if the lady is uncomfortable with the idea of it, it is easily removed in seconds if the right jewellery is worn

I'd guess the advice in this regards most likely come from America where circumsicion is more prevelant, which I would imagine would be more difficult but again with practice wouldn't be impossible.

Having said that, since jokes sometimes seem to have a basis in fact and there's a long running joke about guys never being able to 'hit the target' in the first place would it matter he he was pierced or not?
