Once you’ve gone past the point of no return of being involved in absolute filth with some people, can you still enjoy vanilla sex with someone who isn’t as dirty, or isn’t a fan of the aggressive throat grabbing etc?

No don't think you can.

When we started this journey 2 years ago we were initially turned on by being watched in clubs through Windows in locked rooms, then it progressed to open doors and then openly being watched on the beds.

We've now moved on to open bed 3somes, 4somes and even group play all in the open in clubs, and nothing now seems to phase us at all, so doubt we could.

Yes of course it's still possible to have vanilla sex in a 1-1, and it's even enjoyable.

What I couldn't do it to have 1-1 vanilla sex with the same person for the rest of my natural.

To me vanilla sex means non-swinging sex - ie in a relationship. In this scenario it's at least as much about the emotional as the physical.

Swinging, to me at least, is physical sex as a recreational pastime. Yes there may be some friendship involved but not the same deep emotional connection.

Spot on. If you're not treating who you're with as an individual, rather than a list of boxes to tick then why are you having sex with them at all. (Obviously a bit different in a group play situation, but 1-1 focusing on them as an individual is paramount as we all like things done differently.
