Next holiday I want to attend my first nudist beach and part take in the act.

Who's a fan? How does it make you feel? Any advice?

If it's naturism you want to experience - then fine, enjoy it. If anything further on a UK naturist beach one risks being caught and a conviction if not physically challenged by others.

We've lost too many beaches in the UK so keep anything else private.

Naturism in itself is fantastic and we love it, beach, hotel, club, wherever.

Naturist beaches and resorts with naturist terraces have been an important at part of my holidays for 20 odd years. They were a massive help in improving my body confidence and developing my appreciation for the naked form of bodies of different ages, shapes and sizes. Very liberating and it is wonderful feeling the sun and breeze blowing over on my skin with out encumberance of clothing. For this reason there are places in the Canary Islands, particularly El Cotillo on Fuerteventtura that are my favourite places to get away from it all for a few days and enjoy the sun and relax clothes free.

Naturism isn't about being voyeuristic or exhibitionist, most naturists aren't. It's about the freedom of feeling the sun and air on your body, and not having to sit around in wet swimwear when you've been in the water. And while many swingers are naturists, very few naturists are swingers, so unless you're somewhere like Cap d'Agde or Maspalomas please respect the naturist families around you and keep the two things separate

Don't over think it. Find a beach you want to go to and do it. Everyone is at the beach to be naked not gawping at everyone else. Once you've taken that first step you'll wonder why you'd not done it before.

A few years ago I spent four days at a naturist hotel in Majorca. It was idyllic.

We love the naturist side, and think nothing of having a drink with another naked couple.

Its odd but it is lovely to see lots of flesh, but equally totally not sexy, just nice. Always try and do naturist camping abroad and for a trip or two each year.

Cap d'agde is a different story of course!

But totally different things

We went to one in Spain and really enjoyed it. It's so liberating and love not having to worry about tan lines!
