so ive notice more and more guys lying about there age im not talking 1 or 2 years im talking like real stand out 10/15/20 years ?? do they really expect to get away with it ?these are guys who send up to date pics right from the start one guy even admitted he was in fact 72 yet had his age on profile at 47

who then went on to begging me to meets .... just why ?? why why why....

it used to be they would show you an old pic then turn up looking nothing like the holiday pics they took 10 years ago but now its like they are totally deluded they must look in the mirror and tell themselves '' im younger'' ''i will fool them''...

I suspect it's overwhelmingly done by males. Let's face it, with the paucity of active female profiles, few women will be short of offers, regardless of age or any other factor. So no need for any degree of subterfuge, just to get a foot in the door.

Think there is enough mix on here of ages. I am 46, and find blocked by some for too old and others for too young, don't think changing it would make that much difference? I guess if you are 70-80 might be less on here!

Just be genuine and don't ruin it for others!

Think many do it to get round peoples filters,

There's one in my updates who has his age as 40,but states he's 52 and does it as he's sick of filters.

I'm guessing some women lie about it too ,but as I don't meet women I have no experience of it.

My age is the age I am

We travelled to meet a guy and he was at least 20 years older than his pics. We said no thanks and got off.

i can only comment on guys as thats my target for meets my filters dont let women or couples message me ... but im under no illusion that women are the same and as bad as some guys...

this is not a guy bashing thread ...i just dont get the lies about age like i said not one or two years im talking for those who add 10 to 20 years

yep but surely they know filters are there for a reason ?? if you want to meet no one older than say 40 then your not going to meet a 60year old lying about his age
