Q: does swinging effect a person’s ability to then engage in a ‘normal’ relationship? Does it make you cold and detached?..

Nope we have a very strong relationship and we have rules and agree that if that kinda thing ever shows its face then we both stop, our relationship is priority over any kinda swinging.

If cold and detached is happening, then maybe, swinging should be the last thing on anyones mind S there is a problem in the relationship

Not in my opinion. I do have the ability to separate different relationships though and when it comes to swinging can be "cold and detached" if needs be if that's how you describe no emotional involvement .

I think to do this successfully you need to be able to detach yourself emotionally from sex at least. There's a heap of trouble waiting if you can't.

Not for us, its just a small part of our relationship.. Swinging is an experience we both enjoy and share together.. Its just a part of our physical relationship...and certainly not the most important.

Relationships consist of many more factors.. Emotional, physical, intellectual etc..

For us I think it's actually brought us closer.. I've never had a relationship where we talk about everything and anything and there is no part of me I have to keep hidden....

I've met the one, I couldn't be more in love. This whole thing is for US. I feel more connected to this beautiful man because he not only accepts but embraces my kinks and I embrace his.

It's a small part of our relationship but we both enjoy it together and I feel more connected to him the more we explore!
