What to expect at a house party

Morning all we have been invited to a few house parties but never gone due to not being free or just over thinking everything. We attend clubs so know what to expect now but what should we expect from house partys what do you wear etc

It entirely depends on the hosts. I'd suggest you contact the people who invite you and ask how the evening will go. Some have social only spaces for instance but some don't and that can be awkward.

Surely it's the same as anything else, you do a little or as much as you want. Because you've been invited it doesnt mean there's a play only stipulation

They’re pretty similar to clubs in the fact there will be a common area for socialising and private rooms for naked socialising. Just at a smaller venue

You'd really have to ask the people hosting and have a good look at their party verifications. When we were starting out, I really did think they would be like Dante's inferno and to be fair, some of them have been. We always saved our downstairs soade for socialising and only had play upstairs when we held parties just to give anyone who was feeling nervous the chance for a neutral space. We have been invited to parties where the rules were that at s certain time, all the women had to get undressed, where front doors were locked at a certain time or where it was clear that there was an expectation of play...needless to say, they weren't for us but showed the value of asking the right questions when asking for an invitation or approached by hosts. I would say, generally avoid those asking for money unless they have amazing facilities to use and those where they are cagey about numbers and who is attending

They do vary.

We’ve held a couple and it’s always up to the people what they do or don’t get involved in.

We’ve also been to one where the hosts took our money and then never said a single word to us all night, no tour no introductions no mention of any rules/expectations etc. Needless to say we didn’t go back

In contrast, my 40th birthday party involved a cooked dinner and breakfast, gift bags for everyone, a few ice breaker games and constant hosting and mingling to make sure everyone was ok. Choose wisely!

We’ve just accepted our first house party invite. The hosts have been very nice to us with messaging and the guests list looks great. Won’t lie, we are slightly nervous as we have been when we first visited a club. At the end of the day though we will only do what we want and if we don’t like it we will jump out the window and run away quickly

That is some great info cheers so when you go to a party I take it you just walk in with you saying the door gets locked?

Everyone does it differently. Ours have usually just started with drinks and chatting, and then someone starts something off (or a game in he case of my 40th) which gets the naughty vibes starting and then you just go with it, as much as you want.

We would never lock a door and anyone would be free to go at any point but we’d hope that people would feel comfortable talking to us if they’ve got any issues with anyone etc as we’re very happy to sort out any probs. SSS has a lot of experience of large house parties and won’t take any crap!

I love house parties. The benefits are that i usually know in advance who is going. Its more relaxed than a club and in a cosier enviroment so ifind its easier to chat and get to know folk better.

The first and only house party we went to was odd from start to finish..

And the biggest problem was a few people, including one half of the hosting couple, that had had too much to drink.. We decided to leave after things got a bit much and the d*unk host was pulling our clothes begging us to stay. Safe to say we won't return there haha.

We would still consider a house party but would be a lot more thorough in checking the hosts and people attending before hand.

No, not lucky, we still get invites to proper swinging parties now, none of which charge, so I guess maybe you just need to network more and find the genuine swingers who are in it for the fun, and not to make a profit lol?

I go to house parties fairly regularly and prefer not to go to clubs as they're cliquey. I love them I know the hosts and they typically get like minded people (couples and men) and it's all very relaxed. There are NEVER compulsions some people don't play at all but most are there for uninhibited sex and that's what happens LOL. I'll say at a party I'll typically know a third of the people while the rest are new

I've been to a few , all been lots of fun, but id always make sure I properly knew the hosts, for safety reasons. And as for playing some parties I've just socialised , had few drinks, made friends. And then some have lead to sex , but no pressure what so ever, enjoy the party and take it as it comes

I help organise couples bisexual parties. We start of chatting then go in to the hot tub to get acquainted the in to the lounge to play. It is all very relaxed no pressure and we tell people how it normally goes before the evening.

We’re more likely to host our own now though I think, although we do know of a few we could try.

Not always about a profit though, sometimes you have to hire somewhere so need costs covering. We don’t rule out someone trying to provide a service that has a bit of a cost involved, as long as they’re no obviously charging loads to try and make money out of it.

We’re looking at organising a house party, but we’ll be hiring an air bnb (quite a large, nice house). There will be costs involved, and as some bedrooms are nicer/larger than others we don’t feel it would be fair to divide the costs equally among everyone invited. We were thinking of just leaving a jar out and asking for donations and hoping we recouped costs.

Has anyone who has organised a house party done anything similar?

We had a couples dinner party where we did the same thing, 4 couples, we all did a course and shared the costs of the air b and b. Not quite the same but it worked really well...awesome night too in a lovely city centre apartment...

Different people hold socials for people to meet , not our thing but each to there own .

We have been to specific parties , either strapon, bdsm or bi parties , all have the same sort of vibe , people into the things the party is for turn up and if you dont gell with them you dont play with them.most host ourselves included provide a safe space for things to happen but cant guarantee play.

We have the same rules play upstairs , social downstairs, all parties are no pressure and sometimes couples come where only one plays the other socialized. Most have initial meet first play stop for rest food and then second play then home apart from people satying over

Most people dress smart to start clean and fresh , we do say all to be at ours by a certain time only as people have babysitters ,

There is normally a couple who gets things started then normally everyone finds there space and preferred pairing and away you go ,

Thanks for all the response we have never full swapped only for girl on girl I suppose it's just like going to a club you kinda set out your boundaries within the chat. Hopefully we can start branching out more now and attend some private parties. Just need the invites lol

We like to know a guest list beforehand, as we don’t want it to be awkward or a waste of our time if theres clearly not going to be anyone we’re interested in. You can often get an idea from hosts and previous veris though I guess.
