Did anyone else use craigslist personals?

I used to use them as it was very discreet but long gone and was wondering straight, bi, gay what people thought of them?

I used them a lot and enjoyed some fantastic meets from them. Sadly since they tightened up their rules I don’t go on there.

Yes, used to use Craigslist personals and met a lot of lovely people. Had a couple of disasters but in the main, most were great experiences. Such a shame it's gone now.

Used it a few times. My first as that I put on, I met with a woman. Incredably lucky , it was her first meet and she was real!!! And not the countless spam replies you got off there.

We never used Craigslist but you used to be able to arrange meets through Gumtree many years ago

Yeah I used it before having been told about fab. Was pretty good for it actually, now browse around a site here in Spain thats specifically for similar things as fab isn’t so great here in Spain.

It’s a shame they stopped the casual encounters but it was quite full of escorts, so you did find a lot assuming you were one too

It had some great opportunities for me. It's tragic that there's a huge gaping hole in the market, as it operated globally. I think any site operating from or to the USA would be subject to the same restrictive operations that it got forced into. Craig, the founder, was a great guy.

The fact that it was in the US gave it the permissive environment that's probably absent elsewhere, that could be the right place for a replacement. I guess it may take a few years for something else to come along and provide something similar, possibly better

It was very hit and miss with the amount of spam, but you got the very occasional gem. Had a lot of fun with someone I met on there, she moved but still keep in touch with her!
