Bedfont Feltham

Due to .meningitis I have a hearing problem. I have no problem with hearing every day stuff with a pair of cochlear implants.

However the phone is really difficult unless.in a quiet room and even then it is hard work.

Why is this such a problem with people?

Not just.on sites like fab but even on vanilla date sites.

Do you tell people up front ? Perhaps mention it on your profile so people who contact you or respond to your messages, are already cool with it

my hubs was born deaf 85%in one ear 90% in the other and before his health problems he never ever had a problem with getting meets on his own or us as couple all you have to do is be honest but at the same time realise that as a guy your out numbered and why do you think its your deafness maybe its because your just another guy ? ... i dont think its your deafness i think it just your another guy .... seen many guys in clubs and socials having fun wearing hearing aids

Because I have had people refuse to meet me because I wont use the phone due to difficulties. Or simply not believed

Don't let it bother you OP.

They were clearly not worth the effort or right for you.

There are a few swingers who are profoundly deaf and enjoy the scene.

I am hard of hearing but only need hearing aids. I do mention it in my profile in case it's an issue.
