Swingers "top tips"

What would be your "top tip" that you would give to other swingers that would help them navigate the lifestyle?

Ours would be "in a club, if you are chatting to someone and would like to play with them, ask them if they would like to play!" too many people miss out on fun because they don't ask or a scared of being told no thanks

I agree ..Don't be too pushy but let them know you are interested. Walk away and leave them to discuss it if it's a couple ..They will then come and find you if they are interested in you ..Like OP said too many people leave it too late to show their interest ..The amount if times I've seen if only we had known scenarios

Be clear about what you want ........ and just as clear about what you don't.

Treat people how you would expect to be treated.

If a meet has been arranged and you have second thoughts or nerves get the better of you, have the decency to be honest with the person, or people, you're supposed to be meeting, don't just leave them hanging.

If you're swinging as a couple, make sure you're both on exactly the same page in your expectations and equally aware of possible consequences.

In a club, take the time to chat to people during the evening. Don't leave it till the end of the night and suddenly try to find somebody interested in having fun. This seems to be true of single guys as well as couples.

If you get a vibe from someone that doesn't feel right, trust your gut and give them a miss

"Read profiles before messaging. Have manners. "

Totally agree with this.

If messaging someone , make an effort to explain why you would like to get to know them and what you liked about their profile. Otherwise people will just presume you are contacting eveeyone within 20 miles of where you live !

Make it personal, polite and friendly.

When someone has left you a very nice verification, give them one back instead of spending the entire day on the forums talking nonesense... Sorry guys

So agree with this point, even though we are reasonably confident in most situations we sometimes lack the nerve to ask if people want to play Note to selves, be bold

Read profiles before sending messages, it'll potentially save you and the person you're messaging some time.
