Excuse me. But where did I lecture you. You asked.. I said no I wont be taking more risks. And I do not do bareback.. everyone on here takes risks and we all choose which ones. I've been asked to partake in the prep trials due to what I do.. but I certainly do not see it as an excuse to forego the use of condoms for sex... for me it is adding to my protection. Not an excuse to take away something.

And we obviously dont enjoy similar things as for me I wont do bb and for that I rarely have cum inside me in anyway... just mostly wear it

HIV is a risk to everyone having sex whether you fuck 1 person a year or 10 a day.

Condoms dramatically reduce that risk as does prep, but I wouldn't 100% trust either.....

Bareback sex is a risk full stop and if anyone on this site isn't aware of the risks then they should probably stick to wanking alone at home

So just because your risk of catching HIV is reduced (although not completely removed) OP you think it removes the risk of chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphillis etc too?

If so, then I'd suggest paying a visit to SH:24 and educating yourself a little.

I've never read something so ridiculous and uneducated. Some STIs are on the rise and becoming more resistant, that is due to people having risky sex practices and thinking never mind I can just have a antibiotic for the other ones.

Yes your risk of HIV is decreased but inturn other infections are multiplying

Do you know that also leads to other strains of antibiotic resistance, it doesn't just affect those and them you are sleeping with.

Herpes is a virus (coldsores, genital herpes, chicken pox, shingles etc) so antibiotics are ineffective

They are called antibiotics

Herpes is a virus (coldsores, genital herpes, chicken pox, shingles etc) so antibiotics are ineffective

Condoms and prep only reduce risk. Regular testing only works up to the test that's positive, whoever you had sex with in between are at high risk. You can contract HiV orally too, even spunk on your hand with a cut on it will increase risk. You are at a much higher risk of other STi's if you don't take precautions. Wankers are also in danger of repetitive strain injuries and blindness so there really is no such thing as safe sex.

Remember kiddies. Never sit on public toilet seats as you might catch an sti like daddy did in Bangkok.

wel the OP message seemed a little excited but I think i understand.

I started the triasl because there are times when BB happens, not often but sometimes.

Fact is that prep won't protect against other stis and it is not guaranteed against HIV because there are several strains.

Think the point you are missing though is it isn't about "moral standards" but the fact that you have suggested in your OP that because someone is on PreP that it would give them a licence to bareback - that's not about moral standards but it IS about acting irresponsibly and showing a complete ignorance of STIs

its not a licence to go bare backing. It's an added precaution. I'm being given it as they were looking for women to test it further.. it's to help further protect the person taking it

PrEP is designed to reduce the risk of contracting HIV if exposed. It will not guard against ALL strains of HIV. Just like a cold or flu it is a virus which evolves and produces different strains. It does not protect against other STIs so suddenly going all out bareback is not the best idea.

The idea is that IF you do have a bb session it should give some measure of protection from HIV.

All this is discussed at the interview.

However, if you ride bare make sure you get tested.

If you do go on the trial you will need to have full set of tests every three months. Also note that there are potential interactions with other drugs so use the Liverpool HIV Interactions website to check
