I promised myself I wouldn't do last minute meets with folk after a number of no shows. So I had an approach from a couple who wanted late night fun, we messaged a bit and I asked them to send a photo doing a request to prove they're real, they declined this but agreed to a phone call. Fine, I thought. I had a quick chat with the lady and agreed to meet.

They don't want to give an address so ask me to arrive outside since flats, which I do and we are exchanging messages. I keep getting messages delaying me but also encouraging messages about being horny etc. I waited over half an hour, giving the benefit of doubt, told them I'd wait another 5 mins then left when it was obvious it was a timewaster.

I know it's a risk, but I did what I could to prevent it but it still happened. The account had at least 3 veris so I had someone confidence (I have 20). I can understand people not wanting to give their address but I'm going to find that out when I walk in the door!!!

I just find this frustrating. Does anyone have any tips on how to avoid this?

Also I don't see the thrill in purposely messing folk about? I hope they at least got some enjoyment out of that!!!

They were obviously having fun with you and you didn't really do anything to prevent it!

Why on earth would you meet someone for sex without seeing a picture first?

They were obviously hiding something what did you think it was?

You left home without knowing where you were even going!!

I would say you actually put yourself in an awful lot of risk, count yourself lucky they were only taking the piss!

I would check there veris to see if they are really. Like how long they been on the site if they meet other apart form that person.

It's not hard to make account and us that to veris yourself.

You broke your own rules.

They initiated contact. You asked them to provide a specific photo - to provide reassurance that they were genuine - and they refused.

That's the point at which things should have been brought to an end.

But, of course, these sorts of people are playing on the high ratio of men to women and couples and, because they got in touch with you, your ego has had a boost and so you start agreeing to their compromises.

From then on, they had you.

I wouldn't have left home without having their address, if I was meeting at theirs.

Sorry to hear of your experience. Encountering time wasters in the middle of the night, when you are horny sounds very traumatic.

Shame they didn't send a photo doing what you requested, didn't register as a problem. But some dont doing instant pics. I presume they had photos on their profile and yours are public...so that's no an issue.

I know people go to people's houses without full details...it's so that idiots with no intention of turning up don't be a problem at a later date....so that's understandable.

I am amazed you spoke to a lady on the phone....that would have reassured most blokes that it was a genuine couple! No wonder you were pissed off.

Have they contacted you to apologise , explain they suddenly got cold feet or whatever. ?

In future ....just go to club's....as least you know there will be people there when you go and you will have a better chance of having some fun.
