Keep trying to tell kat she has a great body that wouldn't be out of place if she were 20 years younger any one els have problems with partners thinking that don't have a good body shape

Kat has an amazing figure you are right. But it's a mindset that you get into that is difficult to shift, but is possible with hard work from the both you. This is something we are working on at the moment as I suffer from body dysmorphia. Good luck and she is lucky to have such a caring other half, Frida

Yep same with the mrs, works really hard at the gym and she will go through times where she’s proud of her body. One of the biggest help has been other women from here and at meets commenting on how good she looks.

It saddens me to see how many ladies mark themselves down as curvy when they are nothing of the sort, the media has a lot to answer for.

Genuinely think there's something beautiful in everyone.

Confidence is sexy. I'm overweight and nearly 55yrs old. Many of my female colleagues and, a few friends sit there moaning about their bodies. It's boring, it's not helpful. I've sat and heard shite about how many syns in this or that. Women's worth is more than their bodies. Needing constant praise and reassurance is not a great thing.

I agree with you that a woman's worth is more than her body. I think building self esteem as a whole is the way forward for anyone with body issues rather than focus on one thing

I'd suspect that most people feel that they "could do better", but most do care enough to do anything about it.

If she doesn't like how she is, ask what she doesn't like and help her change it. It's amazing how a small change can really change how you feel about your self.

Being a member of fab has certainly increased my body confidence, being over 40 I thought I'd struggle to attract people I found attractive, I would ask if they minded my age every time before actually meeting!

I've learnt that if someone finds you attractive then the body's natural signs of aging are never an issue.

My acceptance/appreciation and yes a little bit of love for my body has increased dramatically since I started going to swingers clubs, I find them to be full of incredibly body positive people, compliments from not always sexually interested people genuinely given are lovely to receive and a pleasure to give too!!

Kat definitely has a sexy figure. I hope she reads all of the lovely messages from everyone as a counteracting argument to any of her body concerns. Your encouragement is probably all she needs but it’s great to see Fab folk lifting another’s confidence. Happy new year to you all as well

It’s a sad fact that so many of us women on here have body worries

Yes we take the pics and put them up for all to see but I for one self critique all the time and often make myself feel miserable

OP your lovely lady had an amazing body and not just for her age. I often think (sorry guys) a compliment from another fem carries more weight than from a guy anyway

I hate the way I look, I know that sounds silly when I post pictures for everyone to see, but it's just fake confidence.

I've gained a lot of weight during recovery from an eating disorder and I wasn't prepared for dealing with my new body- I'm still not.

What I'm trying to say is that lots of people have body confidence issues, it's totally normal, as sad as that is.

But your lady is lovely and she shouldn't feel bad about herself, no one deserves to.

I think most women go through a moment of doubt. Lady J does it all the time but it’s our job to remind them just how sexy they are whether they believe us at the time or not
