So, I've messaged you and you haven't replied. What do you make of a second attempt, some time later? Annoying? Or proof I might be a little more than idly interested?

For us it would completely depend on whether we are interested in you anyway... if your first message was interesting then we probably would have replied anyway...

I suspect anyone will have a different view, but for me personally I delete first and ask questions later, it helps me manage my inbox. So a different approach may be enough to change my mind... But too quickly and you're not accepting a no for an answer, and that's a one way ticket to the block button.

I always reply to every one as I have the time but as our profile states that after that if my wife doesn’t reply it’s a no thank you and if a week later you try again I block you.

Blocked three today and each of them just sent the same message again.

Always read the profile as it’s a window into our sexual soul and there to help!!

I'd say it was annoying, if I haven't replied it's for a reason. I definitely wouldn't appreciate a second message.

I sometimes get to many. So mass delete the lot. So I wouldn’t know it was a second attempt.

I would just advise please read the profile. An go from what they say

It probably also depends if they are site supporters and use the new mailbox... We get alot of identical messages from single men who are not site supporters and send the same message again and again as they don't realise we can see they have sent it 3 weeks ago

Thanks as I didn’t think of that but really it matters not as they clearly didn’t read our profile but I will bear that in mind when I reply before blocking them.

Thanks lads. TBF I don’t really send 2nd messages - I know a brush-off when I get one (and I get a fair few).

Just wondered if I was missing any opportunities to sway the attractive people in my favour.
