Hi

Have never used it for this specific task but the free video editor VSDC would do this.

It’s 100% free to download. However, you will need a relatively fast PC at home to carry out the video rendering required. If you’re still with me up to here then you need to blur the area using one of 2 ways. You should use method 1 (De Logo). Then save and publish the video (to your desktop). Then reload the video and blur the same area using method 2. Using 2 separate methods should prevent anybody ‘Undoing’ method 1.

Hope this helps.

How to do this will vary depending on what editing software you are using. I have done some work in Adobe Premier Pro where I needed to remove logos from the video and did this by adding a gaussian blur to the clip and then setting this so that it was limited to a masked area. In my videos this was on static equipment and a static camera but with faces moving around I guess you would need to use keyframing to move the mask with the motion and for longer clips this could become quite a task.

Isn’t Adobe Premier Pro expensive?

I use sony vegas.. it does take time, as you have to keep moving/tracking the pixelate to keep it over the faces. if you have no real editing skills you will find this hard to do.

My House

We just use video editor that's free with Windows 10. Just place the symbol where you want it, tell it to bind and watch how it follows that suit around no matter where it moves.

Easy, simple, works

There are a couple of free video editing apps that will allow you to add an emoji and keep moving it with the video.

Otherwise far better method is with a pc, but as mentioned you'll need a pretty high spec computer to make the video editing software work smoothly. Unless you know what your doing it can be quite a task to do it well.
