Face pictures

I don’t have face pictures on either my open or friends photos but I have them in private and happy to send upon request! I feel this is just a safe option? What’s everyone else’s thoughts?

I have them but not for public. I like to choose who to entrust with them.

Happy to share face pics but not on the first message, like to know if we click first. Don't want everyone and their dog knowing my business.

I also don't find it appealing to send a first message with a face pic when most messages are ignored/deleted anyway, so when a profile says "face pics or delete" I just move on.

I agree completely. I have been blocked by people for not sending them a face pic immediately, but with the number of weirdoes on here, I will only send one if I trust the person enough to meet them.

Don't have them at all on the website. Don't feel the website is secure enough for it. We're happy to send them via other means if needed.

Behind the bike shed!

We had Kitty’s face picture passed off as their own by a couple local to us. Our fp were set to friends only, luckily another local couple alerted us. Now we have a facepic public, as it’s harder for someone to pass off the pic as their own.

Plus what are people going to do if they see you in town?

That’s perfectly acceptable and totally reasonable

Private is private and at least you are willing to share them with the right person

The accounts I don’t like are the ones that will not show a pic unless you move to kik or WhatsApp as invariably if they aren’t my type will continue to badger me on there

Its upto you what you put up here. I dont have any pics on here as it's my choice. I find this is the best way to eliminate shallow thinkers an it does work!

Some people have jobs (or volunteer work) where "questions around their morality" is enough to limit opportunities and close doors. As much as I'd like to be open about everything all the time, sometimes you need to pick your battles.

This is a conversation killer for us. We prefer conversations to be here until we are at the point of setting up a meet. Then we can sort out the kik/whatsapp details. So telling us you "only have pics on kik" when it's easy to upload here is an almost sure fire way to end interest.

I understand discretion but who would realistically meet someone they'd never seen?

I think I've found a way around it tho

I have them set to friends only since the only people on my friends list are those I've met in person so they've already seen my face.

I'll also send them privately if I think there's a good chance I'll be meeting someone and if they send one too.

Hey Fab friends, don't you think is ignorant to say, "i will not reply if you dont have fave pictures in your profile" but they dont have face pictures. Most people dont have face pictures because they want to be discreet

I'd prefer not to have my face pics showing but then I am a little disguised from my normal every day life so it would be hard to recognise me but not impossible.

The reason I do show my face pic is that I prefer people who may potentially want to speak with me or meet me that you can expect that I'd look like this and not some gender app facsimile.

I dont expect a face pic until we've spoken for a while but I do expect your face to actually be yours.

As for snapchat filters, sorry girls and boys but do you really have floppy ears on your head and the nose of a dog?
