Couples: How did you get in to swinging?

As a guy that's never been in a relationship with a woman that wanted anything more than vanilla sex, I'm curious how swinging couples got to that stage of their sex lives/relationship.

Was one of you already in to it and slowly encouraged the other?

Were you both rampant from the start and swinging was the logical progression?

Did you get in to it by accident (not sure how that could happen but I'm trying to cover all bases here)?

Also, if one of you was the instigator, was it the guy or gal? I have a theory guys take the lead but I'm not basing that on anything in particular.

Just really fascinated by your stories as I can't see how any of my past relationships could have ever progressed beyond the basics.

That's how we ended up going to a club, we never went there to specifically play or do anything, we just wanted to see what it was like - this is the BEST attitude to have, never drag a partner on to the scene with an agenda, just go there for your own fun, the first time its often best not to do anything but just play with your partner anyway.
