I spend more time cleaning, combing, moisturising and looking after my beard than I ever did shaving.

For men struggling to grow a beard... try minoxidil. Iv seen people grow fluffy beards from nothing on 3-4 months. Iv done, coming up 2 months now and already seeing my cheeks coming through. Just thought I'd put it out there. I know how it feels to be a man without a beard

I'm not going to lie, having a beard involves less maintenance than being clean shaven.

I use shampoo and conditioner on my beard at the same time as I wash my hair and give it a trim when it gets a bit stragglely, that's all.

I go from long stubble to short beard, then back to the first again...Easy to maintain provided it's edged correctly and I like the way it sits on my chops.

Big full beard here. That kept nice clean and soft at all times.

I've had if for probably 10years now and no doubt it puts some women off (they don't know the secrets ) but equally it turns alot on (they know what it's all about)

But if your goin to keep or shave you beard off on the chance of a hook up you probably not Got much elce goin for you other then you own vanity and are very dull underneath what ever exterior you decide

As this thread demonstrates, it's definitely a polarising topic on Fab!

For those out there insisting bearded men are "lazy" though, please spare a thought for those of us who look ridiculous without facial hair. I look like a pudgy Ade Edmondson if I shave. Nobody wants to look at that.

So many ladies on here aren’t fans of the beard, and I get that we’re all different. Personally I love having my beard, always look after it with small batch beard care products that are good for my skin, as I like to smell nice too.
