Hello everyone,

I’m profoundly deaf guy and I’ve been on here on and off for a year now. I go to clubs and to meet some people who made me feel welcome to join..

There alway will be communication problem due to my deafness and i do get frustrated when they say oh sorry or walk away from me as like i got some diseases.

Since i joined the clubs ii never not once had fun or to play. Or even any interest on here to meet.

Have anyone have that experience and for few weeks now i have seriously thinking about not coming back on here and it a waste of time for people with disabilities to join this.

Are you sure it’s being deaf and not just being a single man? It looks like there’s a lot of single blokes on here that struggle to meet.

We’ve been on here over a year and still haven’t found anyone we’d be comfortable playing with but have been to clubs and enjoyed the social and exhibitionist aspect.

Chin up and keep looking, you’re not by far the ugliest bloke I’ve seen on here and they were able to see some action so I hope that gives you some hope!

There are many single guys who struggle on here, because there are so many. You have some nice verifications, so a great start

I'm sure it's not because you're deaf.

We're always at clubs and it gets loud, asking people to repeat what they said is normal so I can't see people having an issue with it.

Somewhere over there

I’m Deaf as well but use hearing aids/lip read although I can sign. It’s handy when sending ‘secret’ messages to Ian when checking in on each other (he’s hearing)

There was a post on the forum about disabilities & swinging so it’s definitely not a barrier.

For a single guy, it’s harder for you to get meets; that’s just the way it is, but if you go to socials and explain your communication needs then it helps put people at ease.

Obviously some people are prejudiced (As I am sure you don't need me to tell you) but I know a few disabled female swingers, including a deaf lady, who get plenty of meets- as others have said being a single man is probably a barrier too

If someone politely messages us before we go to A club it hugely increases our chances of having fun with them once we arrive. Have you tried this?

Don't give up you look v nice and if we were further south we would Defiantely say hi

Ms Icebreaker

We / I would not see it as a problem ar all. My ex husbands father and 8 siblings were 99% deaf. Lip reading for us! I played with a chap who had an ostomy band a few weeks ago.

I am deaf, I don’t see any problem meeting people at adult club. It’s would be nice to sign but it’s harder to communicate orally, but I manage. There are some lovely people would make an effort to communicate. Good luck.
