Flashing with prior consent is legal it's only without prior consent that makes it illegal

Flashing illegal? I agree that it might be illegal, but like 90% of the laws in this country - it is not policed!

My Wife when in the right mood enjoys flashing. It usually when we have a day out and she is in a short skater dress and stockings.

For all those that say it is illegal, it is hardly the Wife's fault if the wind blows her dress up!!!

Everything in the country is illegal mainly due to not good reason but because we have become a health and safety, please don’t upset me, oh you can disagree with some one society who need to get a grip on reality, the human body is the most natural thing in the world yet we shame people and want to punish people for showing or exposing it. Next week I’ll be asking it it’s ok to breath in public in case we cause offence. A head prison warden at Scotland’s toughest prison once said, we no longer just imprison people who are a danger to society, we have a habit of creating laws and punishing people for annoying us and pissing is off.

Yes there are sex offenders of course that’s a different ball game, but common nudity and the human body big small or otherwise should be celebrated not shunned

Nudity is lush but like anything should never be forced on anyone but totally disagree with you regarding flashing! It's horrid especially when you don't want it and I hope that noone ever flashes your mum or your daughter! I was at when I was young and it's very upsetting! If you think it's right then says a lot tbh ... it is illegal for a very good reasons

With consent it's fun but only when noone else is involved and if you don't mind the criminal record and sex offenders register then ...

Flashing need not be so up front. I find a flash of stockings, or an "accidental" knicker glimpse has the desired effect

Unfortunately the term flashing comes across as very aggressive and associated with the dirty old man mac brigade.

Discreet indiscressions is a better way to describe it perhaps....and there are various levels so please do not be too quick to judge.

Is a woman who decides to go braless and you can see a nice bit of cleavage or nipples through her top a person who should be heavily criticized..well I hope not..but this still potentially falls into this group..?

Think the term “flashing” and been “forced upon” is more offensive than the act.

Never been to a beach where people went to pleas with out asking permission from the whole beach / town / country

I think there is worse and bigger concerns in the country / world that we should focus on and bigger issues that need addressing than people complaining as something has offended them FFS out politics offend me every day is this illegal.

One above does see no need to repeat.

Personal I find smoking offensive a sit stinks is thrust upon me when I walk outside a restaurant or hospital it bad for me and my children but is this illegal.

It’s offensive and dangerous to my health and the health of my children and I have not been asking if I would like to walk through smoke when leaving establishments therefore is “forced” upon me so according to the specifications we are working by with flashing smoking should be as illegal as flashing

When done with the intention of causing distress or offence, public nudity/flashing is illegal, but most people - us included - are careful to avoid being seen by unsuspecting passers by.

Speeding is also illegal - and arguably more dangerous than public nudity - but who doesn't do that?

I’d prefer to cause excitement and arousal rather than alarm or distress.

Not caused any distress as of yet...
