Comedy profile anger/irony

I absolutely love it when you read a profile fully and it finishes with a super aggro paragraph about how rude people who dont reply are and 'we always reply to people even if its a no'.

You then send them a message including everything they ask for and they delete without reply.

Makes me chuckle everytime (and yes it happens alot to me :P)

There is probably a disclaimer that replies do not apply if you're a single guy.

ive had that too, usually guys who rant on about how stuck up women on here are and how a polite no thanks is just good manners, then i mail them and ......nothing

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Its so hard not to put a rant on my profile sometiems, especially after a no show. But then I read them on other profiles and think how unfriendly it comes across, so I keep the grumbling to myself.

To be honest, if I saw a rant on a profile, I wouldn't even message them.

thats 100% how i feel, there are many things on here that piss me off, like guys who ask to come round when your kids are in bed etc but like you when i read ranting profiles i just think...chill out ffs and i dont really want to come over the same so i try to keep my profile basic and civil

I read one earlier that was just one long rant about how they've been let down, and people shouldn't message them unless they've read the profile, and no single men this, and people are rude that and thought 'blimey, bet no-one meets them!' Checked out their veris and they had LOADS! Nowt so queer as folk.

Had the very strange experience of partying this weekend with a lovely down to earth sexy couple,then when we went to send them a veri the next morning i couldnt believe their profile...it was so ranty and off putting.

i dont think people consider the impression negative profiles make.

I do get why they do it, but I bet it has zero effect. Peopel are going to message whatever the profile says. Much better to set up filters.

But i think exactly the people they are ranting against are the sort who will ignore the ranting.

Lol I have gotten used to no reply and just a deleted message when everything that is asked for is contained.

TBH I am on here mostly to chat to people these days rather than go through the cycle of writing messages and hoping for a reply lol.

One of these days I will make it to a club...honest

The very first message I sent received a reply. I thought that was easy. It contained 7 swear words and a number of questions with regard to my intelligence. All because they lived 70 miles away from me.

I only messaged them because they had a nice profile and accommodated, so I didn't think distance would be an issue.

You can't win.

I rarely send messages these days, I just let people rant at me in the forums.

How about a friendship requester who I have never spoken to but sends me a friendship request yet on his profile, he clearly stated that he does not accept random friendship requests

Did they say anything on their profile about distance? I do hope you reported and blocked them, there is no need to bad mouth people, definitely not someone worthy of you
