We like winks. It's a way of showing interest before messaging. Quick and efficient!

We look at winks the same as the obviously random messages we get, who haven’t read profile or have any real understanding of us from our profile.

We don’t right them off and don’t blame them for casting the net as you never know

We like the option to wink. It’s a simple way of showing interest in someone/ couple. If the wink back we normally send a message and get the ball rolling.

Must say we do get very like response from the ladies. Guess it not their thing. No response, we just move on.

I do love the rare wink, but whenever I mail them (or her) to say thank you, it never leads anywhere!

For us winking is just a non-intrusive way of saying "nice profile/photos/body" without expecting any response. If anyone checks our profile and makes contact after a wink, so much the better.

We like the wink feature.

So many people ask for a message, you can put the effort in to sending one (and it isn't a generic "copy and paste job like many do) and you get ignored. Why waste your time? Send a wink, get one back, send a message. At least you know there's a mutual interest at that point.

I send winks as a nod of appreciation, usually as the profile is miles away and there's probably no possibility of ever meeting, but I still like their profile

If someone looks at your profile it may be that it’s just curiosity - a wink means there’s more interest I think

We don't even look at them anymore, got so sick of replying to winks and never getting a reply. It now says in our profile we don't look at winks so if we do receive one it just shows said person has not been reading our profile. Job done, who needs to set filters when some filter themselves out

"we find winks lazy so ignore them, easy to just say hi"

Its so easy to type out a quick message of introduction, expressing how much you like their profile and inviting them to drop a message back if they like your profile too. Much more personal and putting in effort is how we all get along in life successfully, no effort, no return
