Might be a daft question to many, but was just wondering what people's views are on age. Is it naughty, nice or just totally wrong on every level to be getting involved with someone half your age on here? X

I use it as a rough guide I’m not hardened with my age limits, I know I tend to go for my age or younger most of the time however I’ve also played with older guys who definitely don’t look their age. The problem with ages on here is that most of the men tend to have a fab age which is a few years younger than their real age - some can get away with it, others not so much.

My perception is a lot of younger people can generally show their age in emotional maturity, but that is not the case with all of them. After being pursued for over a year by a lad in his early 20s I finally met him last weekend, breaking my own comfort zone with age. I was really surprised how mature and intelligent he was, we spoke late into the night and it was like no age gap at all. So I think sometimes you need to give the younger people a chance

We find people use "age is just a number" when they are outside of our preferences. This is usually followed by childlike/immature responses proving to us that there's more to it than that...at least in our experience.

Let's not forget the bigger picture here.

This is a swinging site first & foremost. Where grown adults meet other sexually compatable grown adults to have sex with.

Why, if it doesn't bother you about having sex with someone twice older or twice younger should you be worried about what others think.

Most people in their 20s haven't experienced much in life and can be rather one dimensional.

I often get on well with older people but tend not to be sexually attracted to them.

So for me, my age range is those I'm more likely to get on with and be attracted to.

18 years between D and I, and honestly it never really comes up, if we are meeting people on here, I do prefer older but it's not a hard set rule.. as long as its legal then there is no judgement.

As for long term, we have children the same age, I have been through life's challenges as much as the next 40 something unfortunately and we have come through a lot together, maturity wise we are both fairly on par.. And I suppose I am not the typically 'stereotyped' 20 something, who wants to party, stay up past their bedtime and shirk responsibilities as some seem to think that's all we are good for.

As is the case with a sizeable number of women, 8 to 10 year age reduction can be found on this site.

it is just a number. But for some they make a big issue out of it

If anyone has a dislike to me or my age they can always cross the road.

I meet many on here, and age, doesn't come into it all. Its more about there being an attraction and connection for me.

Yes age is just a number, I can put a lot of younger guys to shame with my experience and I am a good stayer, but it’s up to everyone do decide what age group they want to meet and you see it so often from couples and single ladies how many time wasters from some of the younger guys but it’s every ones choice

In the dating world and if looking for a LTR, I feel it does matter. As good as it would be for my ego, what future would I have with a girl half my age? Currently dating six years younger than me.

Half your age plus seven is considered the ideal age difference for men seeking women.

Depends on what you're seeking. I'd be happy to meet someone older as long as there's mutual attraction.

I wouldn't want the age gap to be fetished though... Not interested in being a "cub" (or a "daddy" on the other end of the spectrum).

Some people struggle to connect with someone much older or younger though.

This is exactly it though, Lots say "I have children older than you" etc..

I'm ten years your senior & I have kids at primary school so most of the mums/dads are around H's age so it's that age we tend to socialise with.

Age "Is" just a number...It's your outlook that ages & is the defining factor for us.

Not saying we are big fans of radio 1 & the crap that's on it most of the time, but neither do we play golf & go on saga cruises etc.

I'm busy planning a trip next year to the Nurburgring on my M/C not interested in dossing on a beach somewhere...
