I was just reading in the Metro about the guy who posted pictures of his naked girlfriend on porn and swingers websites. He also arranged fake meets with people showing up at her house saying they had been invited round after chatting with her online.

A friend had seen her images and asked her about them she the found them on other internet sites.

She contacted the police it was traced back to her partner and he was arrested.

He had done all this whist they were a couple and he had been pretending that he was trying to help her.

He got a restraining order a sexual harm prevention order, both for 5 years plus a suspended 12-month sentence.

I just thought it might have been interesting people here as it is something that's discussed quite often. If you want to Google it his name was Darren Rowe and it was in Wolverhampton Crown Court.

Do you think this happens a lot? If you look on porn sites there's loads of home made porn and I often wonder if both parties know it's gone online

This is why we think having the video option on here is a bad idea.

There have already been posts about people either finding out their vid clips are now online on other sites, or seeing vid clips on other peoples profiles with them in that they didnt consent to being shared.

How do you prove that, if you upload a video here, that the others in it have consented... and, perhaps more to the point, why isnt this site doing something to address this?

Problem is once it's on a porn site it's on for good, some of the girls in homemade porn only look teenagers and it could come back to haunt them

Its no different to photos.

Someone you trust having private images of you and putting them on the internet is very different from you putting your own images on the internet someone taking them and putting them elsewhere.

I think it’s great that people can be charged with this now.

Before fab we used to talk to people through Instagram and the amount of guys who’d send pics of their other half without consent was unreal.

I totally get that some guys love showing their OH off, but doing it without them knowing isn’t on.

Yes , there are many many single accounts on here posting pics of their ‘ex’s’ .... let’s face it I very much doubt that the said ex knows that their in a relationship sec pics are now being used to catch the attention of a new shag

I was even talking to a guy on here last week that was posting sex pics of him and his wife yet he openly said he’s on here without her knowing !

Before the new laws about pics/videos being posted without concent.

My friend & her now EX used to do vids and pics and sone rather rude. The day they split up he posted them on her face book account. Her family & friends saw them.. ... leave that with you

This is exactly why I avoid any single accounts where the guys have pics of women. I don’t want any part of that and seeing as you can’t verify if there was consent, I assume there wasn’t and I move on. The amount of people I know from here that agreed to pics being taken on here at a meet but not agreeing to be posted are quite high. All of those pics were posted as the expectation was they allowed the pic to be taken so we can post it. Really feel the rules should be sharpened on this front.

There is a lot of sharing from here behind the scenes, I wonder how often people betray someone’s trust on here and share images they receive from others. It happens a lot.

Totally agree, been flagging this one up for two years. Single person accounts definitely shouldn't have pix with identifiable others in frame,end of.

I got told last time that these "occasionally slip through and I should report them"...I think it's more than occasionally.I really don't want to see pictures of unsuspecting randomsbeing fucked or whatever.

If the rule was single profiles could only have pictures of single people then there would be less room for confusion...

I'm pretty sure I've come across several guys who contacted me as a couple, sent me images of her but when it comes to meeting she's not available right now. Basically guys lying to get to play with you because you're bi and obviously know you will have interest in the female.

I can't prove it and most like that I block anyhow! Sad fuckers!
