When someone posts that they are looking for someone that is fit/gym fit what exactly do they mean ?

Is it someone who astehically looks the part, ripped etc or someone who can bench brench whatever weight and run a marathon but not necessarily ripped. Both are fit but what is the answer ?

being the proud owner of 3 teenagers im kinda up on the lingo

nah seriously i think fit just means attractive to them, whem my kids say...hes fit the guys not jogging down the street lol

I think there's two slightly different meanings. Fit is as NN said above-it just means attractive and I'd interpret gym fit as someone with a toned muscled body.

I reckon on here it means someone who is in the gym 24/7 and has a toned body, nice 6 pack etc.

Out here in the real world, it means someone who is pleasing to look at because of their face and not necessarily their bodyand used by young people not the older generation

I would take it to mean someone who visits the gym a few times a week and has a toned & ripped body.

If they said fit/gym fit it means attractive AND ripped/ lithe, in my opinion.

Anything about the gym or being built means you have to be muscley and just the word fit is a general 'you have to be attractive to me'.

Muscley guys aren't everyone's cup of tea. I know girls who are only attracted to 'cuddly' guys or guys who are smaller than them x

Can we have a special word that means 'done so many steroids he's got bollocks the size of grapes and a sizeable anger problem'?
