So, as a club newbie can anyone recommend some great ones (might be helpful to say ones to avoid too!) probably in the north west areas or scotland???

The best club I've found is No3 in Chorley.

It has just had a refurb, not that it needed it. It's very clean, open and inviting with great hosts who will really make you feel welcome.

Loads of parking right outside and very nice people inside!
