Looking to have some fun and treat ourselves a little bit lol, but thinking about it, cheap and cheerful means spending more at BBB...

Thanks x

If you want cheap then it is the Etap, around £35 for a rooom which isn;t too bad for the price and about 5 minutes walk from the Nightingale.

Avoid the etap at all costs. Spend a few extra £s and try the Crowne Plaza or Copthorne at the bottom of broad st. Stayed at both and you can usually get good weekend deals.

There are several hotels around the Arcadian, there's a new Travelodge right by the markets and an Ibis actually in the Arcadian, both within easy walking distance to Nightingales

Have fun at BBB guys

Is that not the Formula 1 - same owners but even more budget. The etap up by what was the Dome definately has bathrooms

I used the etap for my first meet with Sir and the room had a double bed and a bathroom so not sure where you are on about unless they also have family rooms

Actually, they have rooms starting from £18 if you book in advance, which is a steal!

If you need more privacy you could try the Spires apartments, a little dearer but some have their own street access just in case you wanted to invite guests back with no funny looks.

Etap is cheap and cheerful, but the beds are awful and moulded to the floor with the thinnest mattress you have seen !! Crowne plaza via laterooms on a weekend is excellent value and quiet nice

Monmouth

The IBIS behind what used to be the Dome is pretty good, motel style rooms, reasonably priced. Or for posher meets, the Copthorne is very nice - and as mentioned above, some good deals available at weekends..

What's the difference between a buffalo and a bison?

Yam can't wash yam ands in a buffalo!

Needs to be said in a brummie accent for it to make sense.
