incognito mode ;-)

After having bells palsy once,I know sex was the last thing on my mind

I looked like a crazed loony trying to smile, couldn't even suck an ice lolly let alone suck a cock and I dribbled as one side of my face was paralysed, with an eye continuously open, drinking through a straw etc

I don't know how much it has affected your wife, surely swinging meets can wait till she is recovered,it is usually a temporary condition,if diagnosed and treated with meds quickly

It wouldn't put me off, but it is probably putting her off a bit..

With the right meds it should clear up quickly anyway..

Here's to keeping your confidence and smiling again soon..

This is most unfortunate, but it can take time for the facial muscles to regrow,as the nerve endings re attach and can be painful. The GP may refer yourselves to an ent department and prescribe steroids. over 14 years later mine has cleared up for the most part but there is a little stiffness (not between the nether regions) on the effected side of the face. It looks and feels more devastating than what it really is, and very rarely does is it ever become serious, and soon you will be on the mend. I hope this helps, as I speak from experience, and others on this forum have/will chip in for sure, with there words of support.

It wouldn't bother me. We can suffer from things at times and it doesn't nor should it mean we are not to be seen as sexual beings. I had arthritis as a kid and can't believe the way some people think of others. We are all just trying to get through life and have fun

Calderdale innit

I had it almost 2 years ago

I wouldn't have wanted to meet as i didnt look great and the weeping eye and wonky mouth made me feel really undesirable.

If she feels up to meeting I don't think it would put many off

Hope she gets better soon, mine was around 3 and a half weeks before i got well again x

Wouldn’t put me off. In fact if meeting helped her confidence then that’s fantastic.
