Creating a STD clean Bi group, who wants to apply?

So, I have a fuck buddys who are equally looking for STD/STI clean partners. We have decided to see if there are others out there who will want to create a group where you have to provide full testing evidence to show all participating are clear.

Please be aware we have love having fun but some have partners.

Tests only show that you're clean on the date and time you've taken them (and at least 3 months from the last sexual contact)

Providing such tests as evidence is completely invalid.

Nailed it

Add to that that testing doesn't cover all STI's (HPV/HSV) and you can never guarantee someone is 100% clean regardless of any texts that may suggest otherwise.

And... it only takes one of the group to get tempted outside of the group and everyone is at risk.

It’s like nobody is aware of dormancy periods on here, I swear...

Even a current test means literally zero, in terms of safety.

Value yourself enough to play safer with strangers!

The tests are basically out of date as soon as you've had it.

So don't bother eh ?. I'm sure most will agree that they ARE good to have and prove you are clear at the time. Would you rather take a complete gamble with a stranger ??.

Separating yourselves from the others..

What if someone joins and is pretty confident about their clean state but cannot prove right there in the spot that they're disease free.. will you make them feel not welcome and ask them to leave?

Surely being able to show proof is a pre-requisite of joining so how would that occur?

Exactly yr tests are only valid up until yr next sexual encounter and then u'd have to re-test or prove u've been living as a monk since the last clear results.

No-one is saying don't bother - of course everyone that practices non-monogamy should get regularly tested.

No-one has said they'd rather take a gamble with a complete stranger either.

However what people *have* said is what the OP is suggesting is somewhat naive to say the least - as placing trust in a clean result actually proves not a great deal - yes it's an indication that person takes their sexual health seriously, or has once, but it's nothing more than that.

The *only* way to be completely certain about someones sexual health is if they can prove they had not had sex for 3 months prior to the test and for any period after it to the point you have sex with them and that is impossible outside of a monogamous relationship. It also doesn't mean that person doesn't have HPV or HSV either.

Sounds a good idea but in practice it would be too risky.

Luckily I have no problem with condoms and seeing it takes away a bit of sensitivity it enables me to go on longer.

I think it's a good idea in principle although only as strong as the weakest link in the chain. However long the chain, it only takes one failure to break it.

I think there was a case of this in the American porn industry when, despite testing negative, people bacame infected.

How about, everyone tested, and still use protection. ?

The whole point of the group is for like-minded people. If person’s are willing to test regularly as part of being in the group then it’s reassuring they are proactively taking precautions.

It looks like many people here are missing the point and instead seeking reasons to dismiss the concept.

There’s no suggestion of not using condoms, as that would defeat the point of the group.

Some people I have spoken to on here have some strange ideas about STIs. One person was convinced you could tell if people had STIs by looking at them.

I don't think anyone has missed the point and finding likeminded people with the same attitude towards their sexual health is indeed something desirable, however what people have done is point out the potential flaws in your concept "where you have to provide full testing evidence to show all participating are clear." - because it will be doing no such thing at all.

Yes showing you are regularly tested is a reassurance, but that is *all* it is and proves nothing other than that.

Can you clean an STI? What would you use? Mr Muscle? Cillit Bang?

I suppose it makes sense; if your going on a meet you'd want your STI as clean and sparkling as possible. So what a nice idea to for a group to support each other in their cleaning endeavors.

Well that was a leap, I'm not saying don't bother, I'm simply saying that showing someone a test result means nothing really. I get them more for my own peace of mind than to prove to someone I'm clean.
