I need your help fabulous fabbers.

The main room of my house - my party room - has a sofa bed I bought from Dwell.

It easily folds down into a double bed.

Ideal for every kind of visitor.

Faux leather, so easily kept clean.

But it's only a year old and already showing signs of damage.

(Heels have torn at some of the stitching.)

I want to replace it.

So my question is:

What is the best piece of furniture with dual use - for sex and for seating?

Well, well . . . I did a forum search, quite a few similar threads and the best bit of advice was to google "sex furniture".

Quite an eye-opener.

I feel a home refurbishment coming on

"

Thanks, I had not thought of that.

I googled it and the cost of recovering probably exceeds the price of a new one.

But I discovered you get "sofa bed protectors".

Which appear to work like a fitted bed sheet.

And just £18.

I'm just socially awkward. And the scene, the people I've met and the club scene have really help with this. I learnt to love my weirdo self and just be my self. Granted it doesn't always go well and some people who meet me are like WTF, who brought this guy? But on the whole most people are quite accepting and like my odd self. The more I accept my self and just wade into the deep end with confidence into social situations the more I find its actually ok. I've learnt not worry about fitting in or saying the right thing and just this is me and I am just as valid as everyone else.

Yes but does it fold away discreetly?

Have a look at a website called Sex Toy Collective

I don’t think I’m allowed to post a link but it has some interesting ideas.

Please, do continue! Amusing the masses may not help your awkwardness, but does make for a pleasant change.

Since I posted this, I have been drawn to the idea of a tantric sofa.

Still looking.

I have invited a couple of guys round.

I am a bit embarrassed about the sofa bed, so I take them into the kitchen.

Well, the sensation of being bent double over my kitchen is just so intense - and so rapid.

Window shopping for a while yet, me thinks.

Tantric sofa would be good for slow and sensual.

Sorted at last.

I place an order for a swanky chaise longue that folds down into a bed - but then discovered it was out of stock.

So I've gone for a wipe-clean tantric sofa instead!

Is that the same as a tantric couch?

I saw a diagram - so many different positions to try.

Well, what a fuss it's been trying to get this delivered.

I bought it from a retailer in Spain and paid £60 for delivery by TNT/Fed Ex.

Their website shows it travelled from France to Italy to Bristol.

Every time I schedule a delivery date . . . nothing happens.

When it does finally arrive (I hope), I must check it for damages - it's done a lot of travelling.

I bought at Wedge from Love Honey. At a push it could double as a pillow. For naughtiness I love it.

Out of the blue, and only a month late, I got a delivery today.

In my spare room until I give my main room a spring clean tomorrow and get it all ready.

Looking forward to the first guy to break it in.

Had my first man on it tonight.

Took us about 3 different positions before we found one that was comfy.

Gonna take a bit more practice, me thinks, to understand how this works.

One thing I do miss is the width of the sofa bed.

But this one has so many other angles to play with.
