No...we already have one thing in common with everyone there so it's never awkward.

We’ve only been to one, but we’ve visited quite a few times. I don’t tend to feel awkward, ever, but Ailsa does.

Nervous yes, socially awkward not so much. We always feel excited about who we will see, who will want to talk, what will happen and that is a big part of the fun. Every night is going to be different and the worst that can happen is people aren’t your type

Not awkward, too shy to break the ice or initial conversation

I think its the same for most men or singles at a club feeling awkward, as a couple you can generally bounce off of each other so its less intimidating.

Its also the guys that generally have to make the first move and many are shy or reticent, hence the zombie scenario where they just follow couples around in clubs..

Personally I have found its just best to say hello and see where it goes, sometimes its a straight "fuck off" but at least then you know where you stand.. lol

We always do. It’s not less awkward being a couple except that you’ve got someone for sure to talk to but we get nervous and shy as well.

Haha I love that. Mr. Is generally a bit of a wingman and talks to singles so hopefully you run into more like that. -Mrs

Most definitely, unless we've had a few drinks. Clubs can sometimes feel a bit cliquey we feel and unless you go very regularly then you're not in!! But having said that we have had some great fun in clubs without having to talk too much!

There is always a part of the night that people you've been chatting too, go off to have some fun or you have come back after enjoying yourself and there is no-one around you know.

I'm sure it happens to alot of people, I do try and chat with anyone though

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

I find it so hard to strike up a conversation for several reasons. Firstly, I have an ED. so my experience is lacking despite my older years which itself can be a handicap in itself. I think you one thing that really holds me back is both my shyness and my fear of upsetting a couple or lady that have absolutely no desire of meeting single guys in the clubs I attend.

a quandary, could you change my mind?

Feel socially awkward in a lot of places. I probably shouldn't admit that here.

Now to post on the right thread:

I'm just socially awkward. And the scene, the people I've met and the club scene have really help with this. I learnt to love my weirdo self and just be my self. Granted it doesn't always go well and some people who meet me are like WTF, who brought this guy? But on the whole most people are quite accepting and like my odd self. The more I accept my self and just wade into the deep end with confidence into social situations the more I find its actually ok. I've learnt not worry about fitting in or saying the right thing and just this is me and I am just as valid as everyone else.
