hiding from cock pics.

Asking for a friend...

Part a, how likely is it that a CCTV camera operator would be actually watching you live, if things got somewhat "amorous' on an empty train?

Part b, how likely is it that said footage would be kept and end up on some 'caught on camera'TV programme in the future?

Has it ever happened to anybody on here?

A) possible that you're being watched live by someone who is monitoring about 10 or more screens.

B) possible that images will be distributed elsewhere. That images from CCTV in the morgue of that footballer who died in a plane crash ended up on the net.

CCTV cameras on trains are not live. They are only ever looked at when an incident is reported. And even then only a select few people can actually view the recordings. Like the British Transport Police.

Im a engineer for a rail company. Yes live to the cab & crew, footage is kept for around 120 days, cctv downloads are done on every unit.

Wrong. They are live due to driver operated doors. Anyone withing engineering can view footage

Friend shouldn't worry too much. Tell friend that the person monitoring it is well aware that they would lose their job if they shared images with anyone but the police. In the case of the footballer's images the people who shared them were jailed.

What rail service did you use? Around 90-95% of trains have driver operated doors. Only skegness line as far as im aware has now in cab cctv screens. All trains have cctv thats a requirement in law

No one monitors it, but it can be downloaded for the authorities.

Doubtful any would finish up on the sites you suggest, although there are unscrupulous people in all avenues of life.

Yeh thameslink have driver operated doors. The cctv is on multiscreen so only the driver will have seen it. I had to watch around 2000 hours worth last year of a incident we had, trust me.... alsorts hoes on absolutely allsorts i wouldnt worry its that common we giggle and move on.
