We’re both quite new and only been to a club once (our first time anywhere so slightly terrified and just staring lol). We’re going to VA this Saturday and wondering, well, how it works and best approach? Do you just go up to a couple and say ‘you’re cute, fancy a play’ (I’m guessing not) We’ve really no idea lol Advice welcome...

Generally people will ignore you if they don’t know you, the people who are part of the clique or meeting other people don’t bother with, make the effort and actually go talk to people who are on there own but you’ve got to initiate the chat otherwise you’ll stand around all night miserable.

Penrith

The simplest way of opening a conversation with someone in a club, is to ask for directions to the loo! Even if you don't actually need to go, there you are: you've broken the ice! If there's a pool table, ask someone if they know how to play. Once you've got comfortable and chatted with a couple of people, if things appear to be 'going well', casually mention you are thinking of going for a play in a room, and would they like to join you.....? It's far easier as a couple to find people to chat with, and if you don't, then at least you have each other for company. Monty and Coco are quite correct though; for all the Fab Forum 'marketing' of the club scene being full of friendly people, it's amazing how reserved many are in these places

Where ever I lay my hat

Treat the night as you would a normal social night out. Have a chat, get to know people and don't like in too heavy at the start looking to play. If there is a connection things will happen naturally, and should they not you have each other to play with and if you are in an open area that may lead to things. Relax and have fun!

Look for eye contact throughout the night and return if you like. Many people go walk abouts throughout a club to have a look around eyeing each other up. A little comment is all it takes to maybe start a conversation. Eg..I like your dress. Play your cards right...and bingo! (we’ll not the actual games!)

hiding from cock pics.

Just start a normal conversation, when you're at the bar chat to the people next to you, explain it's your first time, ask how long they've been attending etc let the conversation flow. Talk to people just in general without expectation, it's always good to chat to people.
