"Meet someone if you knew they was going to cancel with someone else?

You mean people on here will hedge their bets and try and arrange two meets at once? Naughty!!!!!

Why not all meet together and have even more fun?

But in answer to the question - no - once it's arranged - it's rude to cancel just cos you get what you think may be a 'better' offer. After all how do you know which you'll enjoy more? Unless you've already met the first one before - in which case if it wasn't good enough not to leap on a second offer - why go back in the first place!

If it does'nt feel right then make another date,Ive had the same and ive had people tell me they'll cancel whatever they're doing to meet us and I don't think thats right so ive always said don't do that we'll make a date for another time

I feel for the couple hes meant to be meeting as I expect they have also had to make arrangements so that the meet can happen too

Im sure this sort of thing happens all the time with people chopping and changing to try and get what they think will be the better meet, one day I think they'll end up with no meets and wish they had'nt pissed people around so much assuming the grass is greener with someone else and will be sitting there twiddling their thumbs while everyone else is out playing

No wouldn't feel right to me either.

If you have waited this long, a bit longer isn't going to hurt. But that's just my opinion x

I should have added that it usually puts me off the guy anyway if its someone we hav'nt met, whos to say that when we have made a date he won't be doing the same with me and messing me around to go and play with someone else

Im going to sound daft now but im not sure i want to arrange a meet for another date as he's shown he will drop a meet if he gets a better offer

Depends, if he is going to be honest with the couple, why not...my rule in these kid of scenarios is take out the sex and what would you think...

Imagine a friend u had not seen for ages is coming to the midlands one day next week, u know it will be the only chance to catch up for a while, but you have plans already...with someone you can easily see another time...i do not think it would be rude at all to explain to the ppl you had plans with that you were going to have to rearrange.

If they do it to someone else they will do it to you.

it's known as upgrading, many people on here have that attitude and miss the nice people (like me) who doesn't fib and promise all sorts, just to get a meet

"yes i would, we all do it sometimes."

We haven't....on the rare occasions we have had to cancel a meet it has never been because we were changing them for someone else.

We definitely would not do that - mainly because of the what goes round comes round principle - guess it would happen to us if we did it to someone else ! Perhaps this comes into the swingers etiquette rulebook ?

glad i didnt just skim to the end after getting the gist of the thread, cuz i was going to say exactly this.

you meet

you enjoy

you arrange another

he cancels because 'something has come up'

you feel pissed off through no reason of your own.

nah, if he was worth meeting in reality it would probably have happened by now.

these things keep 'getting in the way' for a reason.
