Face pics

Am I the only one that finds it really hard to decide if you think someone is attractive from just a picture ?

I ask for face pics in original message to filter straight away into people I would be sexually attractive to looks wise and not but I can’t ever seem to make my mind up if I like someone or not yet I’m 100% sure if I seen them for the first time in real life I may be..

Does anyone else find it hard to be attractive to men/women from a picture ? Or am I just overly picky/ bizarre

It's the reason I don't ask for face pictures. I always meet for social only first so happy with a blind date.

nope. attraction is physical and mental for me... a picture isnt really real, plus hearing them speak, how they act and carry themselves also dictates if i find them attractive x

It is always a gamble, have this issue with many that message. A lad I spoke to when I first joined here sent me face pics, he looked alright but was not sure. We went on cam and he looked better on cam but still not sure. However when I met him in the flesh he was stunning in person, lovely face but that did not reflect in pics or on camera fully.

It has. If we've been messaging for a while, got on and I'm interested - face is just a minor ingredient into the whole recipe.

When I have met people without face pic we have allways got on well looks are inportant to some people understand that but don't tell you what they are like as a person

I’m probably missing out on some really nice men because of that exact reason.

Although I have met a bloke before, wasn’t sure and decided I didn’t like them and then I felt guilty for turning them down so I think that’s why I try my best to make sure I want to go for it before I meet them.

I completely agree. I normally require messaging for a week or so to see if I like them as well.

As I said it is a gamble, can go either way. I have seen what looks like good looking men in pics but once you get them in flesh they are no where near as nice as their pics, so awkward. I think webcams are another potential safeguard though, improvement on pictures alone.
