Bit confused here in relation to profile where members describe their figures as " Fabulous" on looking I see some with slim figures and some with large figures. In the members opinion what would you say " Fabulous " was...slim or large. I myself would think large, but thats my interpretation of it...

Fabulous is usually used to describe large but a woman any size can feel fabulous so it might be one size fits all! lol

A couple of dictionary entries list "fabulous" as "almost impossible to believe" and "purely imaginary".

In some instances those definitions seem about right.

I really don't know... there's curvy which for me is about to size 16 and large is 18+.

I think the majority of people who would pick it are overweight.

little house on the praire

As it comes at the end of the scale after curvy and large i would think most people that use it are big

Fabulous is how that person describes themselves , irrelevant of what they think other peeps perceptions of them are, their comfortable in their own skin and won't be labelled !

Who cares , the more confident and comfortable you are tbe sexier the person

a Primark shoebox in Leicester

As it comes after 'large' I would have thought it obviously meant larger than large.... super large.... mega large.... massive.... huge.... but just a more fluffy way of saying it.

look at pic's as i have seen ladies about size 14 describing them self as bbw, also ladies maybe size 30 saying bbw too. I would say ssbbw for me (supersize big beautiful women (ok maybe not beautiful but ah well).)

I used to have fabulous it was the one after large. In no way shape or form do I think I'm fabulous, and am consequentially reminded of this frequently. But I do find some women 'fabulous' no matter of their size. So if I was you OP then ignore it, especially if you aren't into BBWs

Fabous is fabulous no matter what shape or form

I like the idea of a 'one size fits all term' myself.

The ability to make a fabulous cake is appreciated by me also...

Fabulous women have the confidence to feel sexy, to enjoy their sexuality and what ever role they take. I don't think that that, has anything to do with size or looks.

I think its larger than large.

From being on a BBW dating site it was things like

ample, large, fabulous, queen size, goddess

It's a state of mind. If a woman feels good and sexy (or if she's tucking into a delicious cake/savoury) then she might describe herself as fabulous. If, like me, she regularly wrestles with herself not to clear out the whole pastries aisle in Sainsburys, perhaps 'miserable' would be more appropriate

I know 2 women on here one of which is over 25st and a size 34, the other is a size 0 they both describe themselves as fabulous but I think that as it comes at the end of the size scale it is normally taken as larger than large
