I think the words are subjective and confusing as well. The idea is that curvy is ideal but then curvy is also used to mean other things than just having curves. It’s hard to know what anyone means as everyone has their own definition of curvy. I don’t think it’s all negative or perceiving themselves as big but wanting a curvaceous body

The wonderful thing is how we all have different views on what that word means. I don't think curvy relates to a particular size, more a shape. You can be slim and curvy, large and curvy etc.

As someone who was very skinny as a teenager ,even after having my daughter 30 years ago i was still slim ,(lucky some would say ),not sure why but in my 50s im more curvy and FINALLY have boobs ,and feel by a small percentage curvy gets me more attention ,who knew !

Precisely curvy is a shape, not a size and is a wonderfully feminine shape (which I don't have lol) it's an hourglass so top half and bottom half the same size with a waist which is noticeably smaller and can be any size whether dress size 8 or 22 or any other. Find it funny that people muddle it up so!!
