What's your preference? If you use one then for what reason? Birth control or to stop bleeding?

There are more choices. But combined pill here as it agrees with my hormones most Implant drove me crazy...

Coil for me, as it's convenient. I don't have to remember to keep taking the pill, and as a bonus, I don't bleed, apart from occasional spotting.

I've used both pill and coil also condoms. I used the mirena coil for contraception and to stop bleeding.

I am on the combined pill but it's more to control my periods I seem to get two a month when not on it. We always use condoms on our meets with others. And hubby has had a vesectomy so the added contraception side is handy with us being on here though

trouble most likely, or creating it :)

o have an implant for contraception and take the mini pill on top to control the bleeding. Not ideal but is needed

He's had the snap, proof he really didn't want anymore kids.

I have a coil to help with irregular periods (which was an arse when planning a meet!)

Condoms with meets of course

Just condoms.

I’ve been on the pill, implant & injection and they all made me really ill in different ways. Turns out my body doesn’t work well with contraception!

If I could find one that did, I’d use it!

Coil, it was the only option I had after cancer ironically it says in the info you get with the mirena coil not to be used after having cervical cancer. I'm guessing all the gynaecologist saying I can have it are ok with me having it.

Injection for me meant no periods except occasional light ones, initially used for contraception but mainly no periods was the attraction latterly

I have experienced this. I've had the copper coil for 8 years now it's ok I suppose. Not looking forward to the change in 2 years time though

Hiding from twats

Condoms plus mini pill for back up.

I tried a LOT of pills before I found one that worked, so I'm sticking to it and not faffing about trying the implant or coil.

Mirena coil for 27 years but have finally parted ways with it. Good and bad feelings about that. No periods from the first day. Marvellous invention!

Condoms are always a must. I also have a coil as I was too young to be streilised and pills aren't suitable for me because of another health issue. Aside from the first 6 months it's stopped everything.
