Hi guys,

We are looking to expand our horizons a little bit and fancy having a dirty weekend in Amsterdam together, the thing is neither of us have been before. Have any of you guys been and can you recommend any places more guided towards couples?

Try fun4two its only about 30 mins from amsterdam city, but it gets great reviews, we are looking to take a trip there at some point this year if all goes well

I've been as a single and as a couple - the last time quite recently! Have to say - just strolling the red light district is fun - the girls certainly have got a lot better looking over the years and there's no end of bars to sit outside to watch the comings and goings.

Don't get lulled into one of the 'live shows' - you'll see just as much at any uk swingers club and save yourself 100 euros.

One interesting bar is 'Sameplace' - google it - a very interesting venue for a drink! Really relaxed and although they have themed nights there's also times when there's live music. One of those great spots for people watching - and there's no restrictions on what you get up to without paying over the odds to get in - just a 'minimum spend' - which you'll easily hit just buying a couple of rounds!

Enjoy - it's a great city to visit and very friendly locals!

It all sounds good, we just dont want to end up in one of the more dodgy seedy places, also we dont want to end up (no offence) in a place which is just full of single guys... and I would imagine thats easily done considering all the stag do's that go on out there...

fun4two is a longwway from amsterdam its in Gouda and will cost about 100 euros each way in a taxi.check out the website for the paradise club.it is very good and only a 10minute taxi ride to the north side of the city.

visit to the dam square and the read light quarter is a must do ....and if you fancy live sex shows there are few, but most of them are badly done...

Fun4two sounds good.... although it looks expensive!

The red light district and things would almost certainly be an attraction for us to visit!!

Has anyone been to fun4two? it looks lovely but REALLY expensive! Is it a more exclusive place to go and is it worth the money?

It is quite expensive but you'll be attending one of the best clubs in Europe .....in some people's opinon it is THE best.

We take the train from Schiphol airport to Gouda and either get a taxi or a bus from the train station to the Campanille hotel. It is like a travel lodge but you won't exactly spend much time sleeping there....and you also get approx 20% off your bill because you're going to the club.

On request the hotel will arrange a taxi to Fun4two and that'll be approx 18 euros, but when you book it say you're willing to share with any other couples going along also.

The club website explains the rest pretty well.

Holland goes wild during Queensday so it would be worth going on that weekend if only for the tourist experience.

Just do the red light district as a couple, that's far more sexy and exiting than arranging a club meet if you have never been before...

Amsterdam is an amazing place, clean, tidy, well respected, we love it but to be honest my number one choice over the Dam has to be Prague...

Infact if i wasn't married with kids i would be living there now, amazing sexy place, romantics wet dream...

Good clusterfuck clubs too!

The best club by far in the Amsterdam area is FATA MORGANA which is in the area of Muiden on the Eastern Outskirts of the city, you can take a bus or train there, but a taxi which is easier will set you back about 25 Euros.

The club itself is all couples only, all the time, its very big, has excellent facilities and good food too. Go early and eat when you get there and just chill out for a couple of hours. You will find that way your saving money on your meal, all drinks are included in the cost of entry too.

There are some other clubs in Amsterdam, but personally nothing comes close to this, and as you say FUN is not close by. Check it out you will not be dissappointed.
