Number of verifications

In the Lakes

So the lack of verifications puts some people off.

But what if the profile you looked at had lots of them, social and play meets.

Would it put you off, how many verifications would be too many?

Social meets wouldn't put me off in the slightest, you can get 20 verifications from 1 social event. If someone had alot of play verications in a short space of time it may make me think that they aren't as selective as they could be.

This is a swingers site, so the number of verifications would not bother me in the slightest. It's just an indication for me that that person/couple are, most likely, genuine.

What I would be more bothered about are discrepancies between the number of verifications published and the number in verification summary (if they are displaying the summary). I do understand that those discrepancies could have occured by people leaving Fab, as their veris disappear with them, but the count doesn't change, but I would be more inclined to think they may have had a bad veri and are not displaying it.

I used to think that, but I’ve bumped into a few people who have been on the scene for a while, go to a lot of clubs, are well known, and frankly know how to show someone a really good time. So now I look at the content of the veris whether there’s two or two hundred.

Two brief, simply written veris telling me he ‘did them hard’ and he’s a ‘heavy cummer’ would put me off more than 200 from club goers telling me how wonderfully they had been wined, dined and entertained.

I have bloody loads , 6 years on here and my summary looks like I could be a second hand dartboard haha

But 95% are social meets when I was a club host

Does make me laugh when people jump to conclusions tho

anything under 300 in under 10 years is ok

A lot would be off putting as we're not into hardened swingers. Too few or none at all is ok if recently joined or a single guy (it's almost impossible for us guys).

We had a couples profile till recently, 39 verifications but that could be misleading as some from repeat meets, others just social meets where we didnt all click.

I've had a meet with a young lady who proudly displayed my veri but seems reluctant to send me one even though twice promised . Hey ho...

Just beware of those who joined over a year ago with no veri's or those with veris but from years ago. Also beware veri's from several hidden profiles, usually fake accounts !.

see... this is what frustrated me at first... now i just don't give to shits...

most of mine aren't play meets... I mainly show ones where i have met people social because i am a great believe in that all a veri is there to do is to show that they are who they say are,and they showed up....

nothing more... nothing less

if people want to read into it more than that.... thats on them!

We're all here to have fun and meet new people.

If I restrict myself to a number then I might as well leave the site now.

If my number puts people off then no problem. Can't please everybody and it's probably not meant to be.

Depends, generally the number doesn't but the content can. But if they're meeting lots of people to the point it looks like they're just playing a numbers game, that will put me off.

Well that was a popcorn chomper and a half! I’ve tons and tons of veris but then I have been on here for ten years and am happy that people (most I have met socially) want to say something nice about me.

I just see those (particularly those above me in the thread) that also have hundreds as more likely to be social butterflies than anything else

We display all our veris, some have disappeared, think our summary shows about 520, so a fair few have gone over the 6 years and a few we’ve blocked, but what you are saying doesn’t equate, the summary will always be greater than those displayed if people who have verified you have left the site x

Lots of veris would only put me off if they were both sexual and from sleazy/ unattractive profiles. I know it sounds shallow but it is the truth. If they had a lot l from attractive profiles I would be fine
