Surely there must be sites dedicated to the alternative lifestyle ? just pointing out this is a general site aimed at the average so the percentage of what you're looking for is going mirror that of the real world.

tattoos? probably 70% of th epopulation

piercings? probably 40% of those with tatts have them also

loads of women experiment with hair colour, and clothing, cool or otherwise, is subjective.

musical taste isnt expressed by dress sense. i would LOVE to wear the kind of stuf you guys wear, if i could afford it and find stuff that fits. lol

i think its more about having a common interest with people you meet

Yeah loads of people have tattoos but its all about the look that goes with them

I love guys with long hair but again its about being able to carry it off

If your into the same things your more likely to get on with someone

Personally i love the good old rocker look, long hair, heavily tattooed etc but i dont even look for that on here because i have never met anyone on here that i could honestly say is my type so i tend to go for more conventional good looking instead, thats not to say i lower my standards thats just to say im only after sex so does it matter if they are not really my type so long as there is some sort of attraction?

the problem with that is dressing accordingly when you meet as i could never wear the type of clothes i wear on a night out with my mates to meet someone off here, i can just imagine a guys face off here if i strolled up in my jeans and new rocks lol so i have clothes i wear just for meeting men off here, so i suppose if you meet people like yourself you can more be yourself and not have to pretend to be someone your not, so in a way i can see why the OP are looking to meet people with their own dress sence

i appreciate all of that, and agree in some part.

but im not a shirt and trousers kind of guy, but always wear to meets as i find that socially acceptable. if it all just boils down to sex then it wouldnt really matter if others were into a particular type of scene or music, but that there as merely some sexual attraction, but OP is clearly looking for more.

personally, we are too old to be dying hair into non 'acceptable' colours and i havent teh figure to be wearing mesh shirts and leather trousers, lol, but it doesnt mean we arent the people we are, and like the things we do, we just no longer look like it.

i have the whole rocker/biker look so feel really out of sorts wearing what i wear to meets.

would much prefere to be in a tank top and cutoffs, so i agree, the real you DOES shine through. lol

ph, and i only really wear leather on the bike. lol

There are plenty of hair extensions that you can buy that just clip in if work doesn't allow you to get away with crazy coloured hair. I love alt women, tattoos, crazy make up and hair. Then again I got married dressed as a zombie so go figure lol

Well if you want to try some outlandish colours guess there are always wigs. I'm not saying I wouldn't put the effort in for a meet but would rather be accepted for who I am then because I've had a shave and dressed in a way that isn't me.

not about being 'who you are' its about being presentable.

who you are shines through when talking to someone. the being presentable bit gets you past the first hurdle of that initial attraction, whether that be alre==ernative or mainstream
