So what does everyone like to wear at a club for the first hr or so..

Depends on the club.

Some insist that immidiately on entry everyone changes into party wear or lingerie.

Others are happy with smart but casual.

My wife usually just strips down to thigh boots only. Its a great ice breaker. Lol

I'm no expert but clubs seem to vary in dress code. If casual then a decent fitting t-shirt and smart jeans, smart casual then shirt and trousers. Both with shoes - no trainers. FB wears a lacy dress and ankle boots.
