the vast majority of single men we have ever met have been lovely, genuine, respectful handsome men, the odd handful haven't been. those are usually either guys that we've met in a club, or last minute ditch attempts cos we've been horny. Horny searching for meets last min is never a good idea. It's like pulling at ten to two in a club.

so my advise would be get to know a guy a bit on here before you meet. always say that's it's just a social meet first so you can see what they are like without pressure. If you stick to that then you hopesully wont end up in bed with any weirdos.

Weirdos come in all shapes. Couples can be weirdos just as much as single guys. Single women too.

i think the most uneasy ive ever felt meeting someone was a guy who was staying in a hotel localish to me, so i agreed to meet him, when i got to the hotel i called him to say i was here, expecting him to come meet me and go to the bar for a drink or something but he said he'd just had a shower so gave me the room number and told me to come straight up, i have no idea why but i just couldnt do it, i had all kinds of images going thro my head

its a prank and im going to knock on the door of some old woman

When i get there hes not going to look anything like his pick and im going to be shut in a room with him

etc

so i text him to say i was going home

I just couldnt go knock on the hotel room of a stranger it felt very intimidating

We have been very lucky with the single guys we have met. Would say we have come across more weird couples.

Good advice.

Have to say some of the most weird people we have met have been couples or husbands of...

Have also met some real plonkers, who guess what, were "single" men....

Do research first, it is better that way.

single guys we have met have all been very nice and respectful apart from one who lied on his profile about his size and abilities and was obviously intimidated and left very quickly but the only weird ones we have had have been couples we have had the jealous wife who accused me afterwards of sleeping with her hubby behind her back and then told us she was pregnant by Sir and had bee meeting him for months behind my back lol and the couple who had loads of verifications saying how much fun they were and how confident when they turned up they sat like startled rabbits both have left the site now im starting to think its us lol

...think it just goes to show you that verifications just state that someone has met someone, and that's all really. The rest is probably best left to individual experience. After the two you've mentioned, it sounds even more like the case.

I'd like to hope that if you put the right stuff into a profile it will largely cut down on the noise and deliver people more focussed to your own needs.... that's the theory anyway!
