I’ve seen this term used a lot lately. Isn’t it a bit offensive to dads? Why is there a need to categorise it anyway?

I am who I am and I’ve got the body a bit like I love a mum bod one with a tummy all the lumps and nips and curves sexy as hell

Who cares what your labelled as to be honest embrace it stick your fingers up and enjoy the body and life your given

I'm guessing it's generalised as being none six pack and toned etc although it doesn't make total sense as dads come In all shapes and sizes including six pack stomachs

Actually thought it was a really great label. When my first son came along,rather than going to the gym after work, I'd go home to my son. Exercise went out of the window somewhat. I have a picture of myself when he's a few months old and I'm bloated and fat. Maybe call it 'new dad bod' instead, it took training for a marathon to get myself back to fitness. But elements of the dad bod' still remain unfortunately, that's why I'm on a low carb diet currently

Dad bod... kinda like a mummy bod. Chunky in places and saggy in others.

I too hate labels, I get referred to as fat girl / BBW / chunky / thick.

Other terms I’m not comfortable with.. I’m bi sexual... I’m not, I can switch from straight to gay, it all depends how I feel. Don’t assume I’ll always play straight or gay if my profile says I am!

It can bee seen that way as can the terms skinny, scrawny and a hole host of derogatory discretions. What would you suggest instead as a description?

Dont see the problem with it....as a father myself i dont have the athletic body i once had in my early 20s....nor have i let myself get hugely overweight. Any fans of the dad bod dont hesitate to drop me a message
