My biggest problem at this min is I have a smelly breath problem due to a medical condition. And doctor given me pills and stuff but it's a bit off putting.

I clean teeth us mouth wash carry mints but my confidence a bit bad.

So some people do have medical reasons

When the door opened the stench was awful. I just made my excuses and left, there was no way I was going in there so absolutely no way I was going anywhere near her. Someone I met clearly hadn't washed for a long period, so we parted as I was deterred. It's reasonable to not notice your own aroma as it's around you but equally to know that your body will not be appealing after many hours since a thorough cleansing. Sweating, using the loo, the action of bacteria around your body, will create a no go zone.

I've enjoyed watching some attractive people in the shower, when they've asked in advance - not all meets have the time for this,

....whilst the threadbare thin summer dress she was wearing didn't appear to have seen the inside of a washing machine either...

....all somewhat off-putting, and had me quickly trying to steer the small-talk towards some excuse to have to leave - fortunately, I was 'saved by the bell' when she got a phone call from another potential visitor...

....when she headed into the kitchen talking to him, I headed for the door...

I always shower and shave anything necessary as close to leaving home as is possible. I also offer anyone coming to mine a shower after the event, and would be more than happy to be asked if they could when arriving straight from work. I don't like my feet particularly but always remove my socks and don't understand gents who don't.

I’m super conscious about this. Firstly, I have sinus problems and a diminished sense of smell. Also, I know some people think bigger people are stinky by default, (you’d be shocked at the prejudice I’ve encountered over the years just in vanilla life).

As a consequence I’m über paranoid.

If I invite a chap round I don’t shower until either the last moment or it’s a fwb I’ll shower whilst they drink their tea! They’re sweeties. Prior to a normal date I’ll plan so I arrive very fresh and perfumed.

I have to be a bit careful with the perfume. My over compensating once led to a Tunes advert moment, (“ah, Michelle, she ‘as a cold”).

I like to think I always smell good at a meet, regardless of the quite sweaty/manual job I do.

I'd NEVER go to meet someone without a shower, shave and a decent aftershave.

A lot to be said for hygiene and those that dont have it can pass me by, it really is that black and white for me.

Anyone travelling to a meet may find that a nearby local authority swimming pool is a reasonably priced place to shower and freshen up, possibly even to have a swim too, if you have the time.

If giving directions, you could mention the local pool and opening times. I think most would prefer to arrive fresh, able to kiss, hug etc, without needing to keep a distance and go to shower.

I have one wonderful partner who I appreciate seeing in my shower after work, so I don't mention the pool 5 minutes away

Over the years ive found people have different levels of cleanliness. Some people feel having just a clean cock makes it ok for the rest of their body to stink. This includes mouth pits feet and bum! I don't live in a show home (even though you can't see). I've 3 animals and a toddler so the place is never tidy.

I think there is a huge difference between body odour and a natural body smell...For example I quite like the idea of a guy who has just finished work and has a bit of sweat going rather than someone lynxed or creed aventussed up! Going out on a meet is very different .

As my profile says I don't like perfumed smells around the balls.For me it's a happy medium required.

Wow!!! Honestly this is eye opening. A guy I used to meet, he was a compulsive liar, turned out to be married and stringing 3 women along to. He used to always turn up at mine and have to have a shower, would say he didn't have time before, but a shower only take 5-10 mins if you are low on time. You’ve got to use all the senses to entice a woman to bed - one thing I do always get is compliments about how nice I smell.

It’s a simple basic requirement regardless of meeting or not!
