When I started my swinging life I thought it was just about sex, you'd go to a club, have sex and go home.

What I didn't realise is that you actually make friends with them too. On Saturday a wonderful couple I know from the gatehouse in Bolton are getting married and they have asked me to be a bridesmaid. I'm so excited.

For any of you that have never been to a club or are nervous I'd say just go, swinging is as much about the social as the sex and you'll make great friends along the way xx

Ohhhhhh, this makes me melt.

The friendships built within the community can be far more rewarding than the sex side. Aside from the obvious (meeting the love of my life) the friendships far far outweigh anything else from fab for me.

Hope everyone has the most glorious time and the happy couple get their happy ever after

Agree, it's good to have friends who swing, you can share much more than sex. We went to swinger friends' wedding party in a club once. An informal one after the wedding day event, a nice liberated way to celebrate.

Well tomorrow is the big day. The lovely happy swinging couple are Kinky50.

They are having a post wedding party at the Gatehouse in Bolton on Sunday where they will also be auctioning off the dresses to raise money for Alder Hey children's hospital.

Aww how lovely. I’ve been to a mass social. Still not ventured to a club yet.
