I'm outnumbered by men on Fab so I don't search but I do look at people of interest in the forums sometimes. Messages I sift through. No photo or a cock shot delete. Compliments a polite reply. Genuine engagement conversation then maybe ...

Too true. There's plenty of dross on the Forums that you can discount, but I do love to exchange interesting viewpoints with people that can actually converse in English, not Dalek speke.

If I receive a message from a woman that I haven’t already contacted, then my first assumption is that it is a fake profile (and probably a man).

So yes, they may search - but I’m not convinced that many take it further than looking at your profile, sadly.

I do and asked a couple of guys in a club last month and they said it was the confident ones do the less so just wait for people to mail them. I am not sure how accurate that is but it makes some sense.
